Story
Meet Taylor — a sweet, playful boy with a heart as big as his zoomies
Taylor is the kind of dog who lives life in two speeds: full-speed play mode and cozy nap mode. One minute he’s outside, happily running and wrestling with his doggy friends, and the next he’s curled up in his favorite spot, completely content and recharging for his next adventure.
This handsome guy is currently working on being housebroken and making great progress every day. He’s already a smart cookie who knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and he’s putting in the effort to master “wait” too — especially if there’s praise involved (his absolute favorite reward!). Taylor truly thrives on encouragement and will happily show off his skills for a kind word and a smile.
He does wonderfully in his kennel — he might take a minute or two to settle in (who doesn’t like a little protest?), but then he relaxes and makes himself right at home. Speaking of making himself comfortable… Taylor has a hilarious and adorable habit of bunching up his blanket just so to create the perfect custom bed. Interior designer? We think yes.
Taylor gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves having playmates. He enjoys a good rough-and-tumble session, but he’s just as happy having his own space afterward to stretch out and snooze. It’s the best of both worlds — playful companion and independent lounger.
At his core, Taylor is a very sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to be loved and told he’s a good boy (because he is). He’s looking for a forever home where he can run, play, learn, and then settle in beside his people — or on his perfectly arranged blanket throne.
If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you active, and melt your heart when he curls up at the end of the day, Taylor might just be your perfect match.
Give this wonderful boy the forever home he’s been waiting for — he’s ready to love you with his whole heart.

Paper versions are available upon request.
If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile above.
After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below:
Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey.
A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below)
The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location.
Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier.
If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!:
Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720).

PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options:
Exchange for a pet that may be a better match**
Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee**
With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities!
Thank you,
