Meet Marsha 🐾 Marsha is a 2-year-old Heeler mix with a strong, loving heart and a spirit shaped by devotion. She came to the shelter as a caring mama, raising her puppies until they were ready to head off to their own homes. Now that her work is done, it’s finally Marsha’s turn to be the one chosen. True to her Heeler roots, Marsha is smart, attentive, and happiest when she feels connected to her people. She enjoys staying engaged, learning, and being part of daily life, balanced by moments of affection and well-earned relaxation. She’s ready to trade shelter noise for a home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be loved just for being herself. Marsha has given everything to her puppies. Now she’s ready for a forever home where she can thrive, bond, and start her next chapter as a cherished companion 🐶💛 These beautiful mixed breed girls came to AARC at two totally different times. Marsha came with two puppies and a couldn't-care-less, tired mama attitude in August. Roxy was discarded at the city line with her brother and brought in as a dumped dog. They had probably never met nor even crossed paths, but somehow these two went from being simply kennelmates to gal pals, following each other wherever the other goes, protective of each other from new dogs, but adoring of the humans they meet every day. They need a home with a fenced yard and no other dogs, and a pet parent who is willing to love them as much (or as close as possible!) as they love each other. If you'd like to give these girls a home together forever, fill out an adoption form!
