He has no behavioral issues, at least hasn’t show them to me and my partner. He nips when he’s excited. He knows sit, paw, down, stay, come, crate, we’ve been working on the off and place commands and he understands them sometimes but we have been very busy and haven’t been able to drill those in. He also does pull on leash and so much so that he has escaped his collar a few times but I never chase after him and simply give a firm come command and he comes back. He is potty trained, when he has to use the bathroom he will stand by the door and look at it and he will stand on his two back legs and scratch at it. He is neutered but we have not been able to take him to the vet yet to get his heart worm and flee prevention pills. He is a shelter rescue that we got a bit over a month ago and I am sad we have to part. I recommend whoever adopts him has a decent sized yard or a lot of free time in order to give him the exercise he needs. He’s a good boy with a lot of energy and a big heart.

Story
Prudence is a ACD/Black&Tan Coonhound mix and about 3 years old. We adopted her from Forsyth County Animal Shelter of June 2023. She’s a very sweet and smart girl with lots of energy and potential, loves to cuddle and play, up to date on her vaccines, spayed and potty trained. She has a lot of energy and high prey drive so she requires both physical and mental stimulation. She LOVES to sniff around and loves games where she has to use her nose. Very food motivated! She needs help building her confidence but knows how to sit, wait, lay down, shake, spin, and roll over. Active owner who has experience with high energy/reactive/working dogs is a must and lives in a relatively quiet area.
