Story
Meet Bodie, a 46-pound Australian Shepherd and Collie mix who is looking for his forever home. At approximately 6 years old, Bodie has perfected the art of being a loyal companion; he is a true "velcro dog" who loves nothing more than following his foster mom wherever she goes. With his sweet nature and laid-back temperament, he is a versatile addition to almost any household. He currently lives peacefully with both dogs and cats, and while his herding instincts occasionally tempt him to chase a feline friend, he is a very good listener and responds immediately to corrections. Though there are no children in his current foster home, his calm and gentle demeanor suggests he would do wonderfully with respectful kids. Bodie is a dream roommate who is already both house-trained and crate-trained. While he might offer a few polite whines when he first goes into his crate, he settles down quickly once he knows everything is secure. This handsome boy truly enjoys the simple pleasures in life: he loves going for walks, exploring the sights and smells of the backyard, and keeping himself busy with a good bone or a favorite fluffy toy. However, his absolute favorite place to be is right next to you on the couch for a long cuddle session. If you are looking for a smart, devoted, and very good boy to complete your family, Bodie is waiting to meet you!   If you are interested in adopting Bodie, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **February 26, 2026, 8:10 pm

Story
ISO new home for this baby boy Darwin. He's a sweetheart who needs lots of land to run and burn energy. We believe he would make a good cattle dog. He is not a fan of cats so a home with no cats as he tends to chase them. My inlaws are far too elderly to keep up with him and his high energy. We don't care about price we just want to make sure he goes to a good home.
