Brie is a gentle and loving dog, which loves humans big and small. She enjoys having visitors over or visit people. Her most favorite thing is car rides! She needs a person which understands her fears about loud noises, thunderstorms and other dogs. She walks a bit, not very far and likes to observe the environment. She takes naps during the day and sleeps all night.

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Blue Ribbon Size: (Once fully grown) ~Large range:  61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:   Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:      8 Weeks:  Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.   12 Weeks:  Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.   16 Weeks:  Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.    6 Months:  Spay/Neuter surgery.  **  Yearly thereafter:  All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.    **Spay/Neuter surgeries  cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.   ** Blue Ribbon has an umbilical hernia. If it is present at the time of the spay it will need to be repaired at the adopters expense.
