Hi, I’m Bailey Mae! 🐾 I’m a 1-year, 9-month-old Mastiff/Blue Heeler mix, and I’m looking for a family who understands that sometimes the best things in life are worth waiting for. You see, I’m a pretty shy girl. New people and new situations can make me nervous, and I need a little time to decide that everything is going to be okay. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was not a fan of that person following me around with a camera. But look at me now! Sitting like a princess, posing for my photos and even offering my paw for a shake. That’s the thing about me — give me time, patience and kindness, and you’ll get to watch me shine. I’ve met other dogs and did well with them, and I’ve lived with kids before too. Once I’m comfortable, I can get a little excited and jumpy, so I’m still working on remembering all my best manners. But here’s the really good part: once I decide you’re one of my people, I am a total cuddle bug. There’s something pretty special about earning the trust of a scared dog, and I promise that when I finally let you into my heart, it will be worth the wait. My adoption fee is $300.
