Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bonded Senior Sweethearts Looking for a Soft Place to Land    Miss Mayze (9, tan) and Serena Marie (7, speckled) are two loving senior girls searching for a forever home — together. After their beloved owner passed away, they found themselves in rescue, and now they’re simply hoping for comfort, stability, and a family with a true heart of gold to help them live out their golden years side by side.   Miss Mayze – The Gentle Old Lady   Miss Mayze is a sweet, older soul who prefers a calm and peaceful home. She’s low energy, housetrained, and coexists beautifully with other dogs and cats. She enjoys the simple things — especially a comfy bed and a quiet place to rest near her people.   She is hard of hearing and has some difficulty getting around, and she will need a daily liver supplement to help her continue living her best life. Miss Mayze is in her golden chapter and is looking for a family who will love and cherish her through the remainder of her journey on earth.   Serena Marie – The Sweet Companion   Serena Marie is a gentle, playful 7-year-old who is also housetrained and wonderful with other dogs and cats. While she’s not overly active, she does need a committed adopter who will help her return to a healthy weight with proper diet and regular exercise.   She’ll thrive with routine, encouragement, and daily walks — and she’ll reward you with affection and loyalty.   Why Adopt a Senior?   Senior dogs are the hidden treasures of rescue. They’re past the puppy chaos, already housetrained, and deeply grateful for love and stability. What you see is what you get — steady companionship, calm energy, and hearts full of devotion.   Miss Mayze and Serena Marie must stay together. They’ve already lost their person; we won’t let them lose each other.   If you have a peaceful home, a soft couch, and a compassionate heart ready for two deserving senior ladies, these girls are waiting to give you their quiet, unconditional love.   If you'd like to meet Miss Mayze and Serena Marie, please apply here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Collette! Collette is a 3‑year‑old, 35lb moderate‑energy sweetheart with a gentle soul and a fun personality. She will start out shy, but once she trusts you, she becomes an incredibly affectionate companion who loves to be close to her people. Collette is house-trained, dog door trained and crate trained. She sleeps in her kennel each night—it’s her safe and cozy space. Collette loves deeply and will thrive with patient, kind people. Give her a few days and she’ll be your best friend! When meeting strangers she is initially skittish and may bark when someone new comes into the home, but after a few minutes she’ll come over for a sniff and will relax. She would do best with kids age 10+ and are patient with shy dogs. Collette would probably be happiest as an only dog, though she gets along well with other dogs and has done great in group settings! A slow intro is always helpful but not necessarily required. She could definitely live with a calm, confident doggy friend. She has not lived with cats, but she does show interest in them on walks. Likely best in a no‑cat home. What She Loves Best Chewing: Yak cheese bars (her absolute favorite!), sticks, and bones. She rarely chews items that aren’t hers and is very respectful with toys. She loves belly rubs, cozy spaces, her kennel, and hanging out under the bed as well as daily walks (she’s fabulous on leash!) gentle adventures, exploring the outdoors with her humans. Collette will thrive in a home that offers a yard for zoomies when she has bursts of energy. A doggie door is a bonus—she likes the security of being able to come back inside when she’s ready. She’s a true “inside dog” and prefers being inside unless someone is out in the yard with her. She rarely barks, even with neighboring dogs. Her biggest need, though, is a calm, patient family who understands her gentle, sometimes anxious nature and can provide structure and reassurance. Collette is ready to find her forever family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings!!  If you’re looking for a best friend, look no further.  I’m Cheeko, and I'm a super fun guy. My favorite thing to do is run around and play with my siblings and give kisses to my foster mom.   I am good with other most other dogs, dog savvy children, and I have been exposed to ranch animals and done well with them, as well. I am just 2 years old and I'm listed as a collie mix - probably with some husky in me, too! I weigh approximately 45 pounds. I am house trained and never have accidents when I have access to the doggy door. I'm super ready to find my forever family! Could it be with you?    Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:23 pm

Story
Duke is a 7 year old (30 lbs) Toy Australian Shepard Blue Heller mix. He has been an incredible dog to me. I am a recently single mom, who works full time and has gone back to school full time. Duke is no longer getting the love and attention he deserves. He loves to run and play fetch. He is a happy and loyal guy that would thrive with someone very active. I am heart broken that I am not the dog parent I used to be. He deserves all the attention in the world.
