Story
Meet Kaden, a very sweet and gentle boy who is looking for a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to blossom. Kaden is quite shy and can be very fearful of new people and unfamiliar situations, so building trust with him takes time. Once he begins to feel safe, his sweet personality starts to shine through. Despite his timid nature, Kaden is a curious dog who loves to explore his surroundings and check things out at his own pace. He's happiest when he can observe the world in a calm, predictable environment where he feels secure. Kaden would do best in a quiet, lower-activity home without small children. While he still enjoys exercise and enrichment, he thrives most with a calm, consistent routine and a family that understands he may need extra time to adjust. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping him gain confidence. Kaden is also housetrained, making the transition into his new home a little easier. If you're looking for a loyal companion and have the patience to help a shy dog come out of his shell, Kaden may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Sequoia, affectionately known as Quoia, is a 7-year-old, 40 lb, spayed female Border Collie/Catahoula mix looking for a loving forever home. Quoia is a devoted, affectionate companion who thrives on being close to her person. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch or joining you on a long hike, she's happiest simply being with the people she loves. She enjoys hiking, long walks, swimming, and exploring, making her a wonderful adventure buddy, but she's just as content spending hours snuggled up at home. She's very well trained, has excellent recall, and is eager to please. Quoia loves making her humans proud and responds well to positive attention and routine. Outside of the home, Quoia greets other dogs in a friendly and respectful manner, but prefers to rule the roost inside her home. Although she lives with another dog currently, she can be protective of food/toys and we feel she would be happiest as an only pet in an adult only home. She can be nervous around certain triggers, such as loud noises and even folding laundry, so she'll do best in a calm environment with patient, understanding adults who can help her feel safe and secure. Quoia's ideal home: One or two adults No children No other pets Country/relaxed setting Someone looking for a loyal, loving best friend Quoia has so much love to give. She's sweet, gentle, incredibly loyal, and deeply devoted to her people. She's looking for someone who will cherish her for the wonderful dog she is and give her the calm, loving home she deserves. If you're searching for a faithful companion to share adventures, quiet evenings, and unconditional love, Quoia could be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Loup-Garou! Loup-Garou is a 7-month-old neutered male Border Collie mix weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you're looking for a hiking buddy and adventure partner, Loup is ready to be your new best friend! Whether it's hopping in the car for a mountain hike, exploring wooded trails, or running through open fields, he's happiest when he's out discovering the world with his people. Loup continues to make great progress with his leash manners and does especially well on wooded trails using a 50-foot long line. His oversized ears are impossible to miss—and they'll have him running your way the moment you reach for the treat bag! This smart young pup comes pre-programmed with "sit" and "down" and is already building an impressive foundation for future training. He's currently working on his "leave it" cue with treats on the floor and patiently waits for permission before eating his meals. When it's time to entertain himself, Loup has plenty of hobbies. He loves chasing a soccer ball, tossing his toys into the air, chewing sticks, and has developed quite the reputation as a determined bug hunter. Watching him patiently stalk an ant or June bug is guaranteed to make you smile. Loup is also excellent at relaxing when it's time to wind down. He happily settles into his crate or playpen for naps and quiet time and sleeps through the night without any issues. With a consistent bathroom routine, Loup is doing very well with house training. Accidents are uncommon and typically only happen if he isn't given a chance to go outside after meals or exciting events like visitors or energetic play sessions. As a social butterfly, Loup absolutely loves playing with other energetic dogs who enjoy chasing, wrestling, and rough-and-tumble games. He's still learning to recognize when another dog isn't interested in playing, so continued guidance is important. A home with another playful dog could be an excellent match, and regular opportunities for dog playdates or daycare would help keep him happy and fulfilled. Like many Border Collie mixes, Loup has strong herding instincts and would do best in a home without young children. Because he's still a young, enthusiastic puppy, Loup will thrive with an active family committed to helping him learn how to settle and relax after playtime. Once he's had his exercise and understands it's time to unwind, he's more than happy to curl up at your feet and soak up all the affection. Loup is an affectionate, intelligent, and endlessly entertaining companion who is ready to find an active home where he can continue learning, exploring, and loving life. For the right person or family, he'll be an incredible adventure partner and loyal best friend.
