Guapo is an adorable young puppy with a beautiful brown-and-white coat and an entire lifetime of possibilities ahead of him. His rescue from Mexico has given him a fresh start, and now he is hoping to find a wonderful family who will make him a treasured part of their lives. As a young puppy, Guapo is at an important stage in his development and will need a committed family willing to provide patience, guidance, socialization, and consistent training as he grows. He deserves a safe, loving environment where he can learn, thrive, and experience all the wonderful things that come with being a cherished family companion. Wilson is looking for someone to grow old with.  He is a 9 year-old herding mix ( Border Collie, Cattle Dog, McNab, and a little mystery mixed in), and after spending his entire life with a family who was home with him nearly all the time, he's now searching for a new beginning. He's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much. A soft bed. A few treats. A predictable routine. Most of all, someone to simply be with. Wilson is housebroken, rides great in the car, and once he trusts you, he's an incredibly sweet, affectionate companion. He'll quietly follow you from room to room, happy just knowing you're nearby. He's not demanding—he just loves being with his people. He can be shy with strangers and needs a little time to warm up, but kindness and patience are rewarded with unwavering loyalty. He'd be happiest as your one and only, though he may do well with calm, respectful dogs. (Cats are unknown.) Wilson could stand to lose a few pounds, so he'd love a family who will enjoy leisurely walks and help him get back into shape. Willow is a sweet girl who loves being outside especially long hikes. She will do anything for you to throw her ball. She is also a pretty dang good snuggler. She is not good with other dogs okay with dogs smaller than her. She loves saying hello to all the humans and has been so patient with my young nephews. She has an autoimmune disorder in her eyes that requires eye drops to maintain. She should be the only dog in the home as she is starting to struggle with sharing her human. She will come with everything she needs and more. (ie: food and water bowls, 1 month of food, eye drops, bed, some favorite toys, sweaters/pj's and more)

That being said, he is the dog for someone with breed experience.  Trac has received basic training and is a fast learner, especially when treats are involved. Because he is such a fast learner. Once he bonds with someone, he will stick to them like Velcro. While Trac is very loyal to people he has gotten to know and trust, he is cautious around new people. Trac may do well with a dog companion. Trac also has a high prey drive, so he cannot be in a home with small dogs, cats, or other small animals. As a result, Simon is still shy around people he does not know.  While in foster care, we have learned that he is a cuddle bug with those he trusts. If you are looking for a constant companion, look no further. This sweet guy will bond tightly with his people. Because of Simon's shy nature, he needs people that will be understanding and patient with him as they train Simon to be the good dog we know he can be, and a calm environment.
