Story
Goose is looking for a home where she can again get all the love and attention she deserves as the only dog.She is a sweet girl that loves to snuggle and be nearby. She does extremely well on leash, rides well in cars (though strap her in or she’ll try and snuggle you!), and has no trouble staying home while you’re gone for the day. Before small children entered her life she regularly went on hikes, long walks and frequent trips to the park. But fetch, of all kinds, is her favorite activity; she could play fetch all day. Unfortunately, much to her disappointment, when small children joined our family, the ball play had to became much less. We've had Goose since she was a puppy and for years she lived with an elderly dog, cat, and chickens. Now, she will do best as the only dog in the home, and ideally in a home off a busy street. Older children would be great for her, but not kids under the age of ~5. She’s a great companion but deserves more attention than we’re able to offer her.

Story
We've had Kai for over a year now. When we got him he was already a year old. Immediately we noticed that he has a huge issue with tall people. It's the weirdest thing. He'll start barking like crazy at the tall person, but as soon as that person sits down on the couch, he's cool and wants pets. With short people, he's 100% friendly. I was not told about the history of Kai. I do believe his previous owner was a tall male who may have abused him. He can be skittish at sudden movements. When a taller male is walking around him, he will run away with a low growl or whining noise.

Story
A true Border Collie - She LOVES to work and is eager to please her person! Give her a puzzle, find it games, or an agility course! She is a through and through lover! However, with that love comes a lot of fear with new dogs and people, especially when they are in her home. She is newer to coming to the USA from Kuwait and is still working through her confidence training. She LOVES hiking, running, sunbathing, and a quiet place to retreat to when she needs a moment. Whoever adopts this love will need to be willing to work with her to instill confidence; not unlike many pups adopted through COVID, she is very nervous and will need help building coping skills in her new environment. With that said, she is a fierce lover, wildly smart, intensely loyal, and a quick learner.

Story
Kage is a good boy, and just SO cute ;) He is a gentleman in the house, fully potty trained and leash/ harness trained. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing in the backyard with his buds... Kage is a gorgeous lab/border collie mix, the perfect combination of smarts and drive with the family-ness of a lab. He is a great size as well- kind of a mini lab or slightly larger border collie! When you have two great things that go great together, you CELEBRATE!! He is that combo, so you can celebrate by actually adopting him into a fantastic home! He has such a sweet temperament, great with everyone he meets. He does not do well with storms but can be managed, he loves his people and is best if they are around alot. His foster mom just loves him and has gotten him as prepared for his family as she can, now it is up to you! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!!! His LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Carter is a very loving and loyal boy. He wants your love and attention and relishes in belly rubs. He is great around other dogs and kiddos. He has been around cats a did just fine. Carter is good in the house. He is potty trained and loves loves loves to sleep with his foster mom. He is looking for a home that is ready for Love and snuggles. He is full grown and just the perfect size dog! Carter if left unattended can get bored. He has been known to chew a few things and dig if he gets bored. He also needs to be kept a close eye on when it comes to the front door as Mr. Carter has been known to run a time or two at the door. It's a simple fix with baby gates and training to prevent him from this is the future! Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
