He loves being held and having your attention . He is only a few weeks old so he will be ready for his forever home very soon. His adoption fee is for vet visits , microchip and vaccines.

Tired of looking at soooo many kitties? They're all awesome, but hi, I’m Medley, appropriately named for the gorgeous medley of colors on my dilute calico coat! I’ll bet you’re thinkin,’ “That cat looks really CHILL.” Yep, that’s me, and I have to say, I hear people talking about how perfectly behaved I am. Meaning, I’m always nice, playful, good with the scratching post, litter box, really, good just anywhere. I really complement a room. LOOK at my photos and video. I’m right, right? I had a challenging time from the streets of San Bernardino City to here, and I have come a long way from being sick from neglect. I am just no trouble. I love to sit and look out the window, but no, never any more time in the cruel outdoors, please. If quiet is your thing, I promise I don’t meow very much, like, I am not demanding like some cats. I like to smell your hand before you pet me. Back scratches RULE. Honestly, I will thrive so much more if I am your only kitty or with another chill kitty. Aggression is just not my thing, but I do like a handsome boy cat. And if I was solo, I might be a little bit lonely, you know? However, if another cat gets aggressive with me, I can show them my strong side. I’m nobody’s pushover kitty. I may be shy at first and hide from you, but I think most kitties do that when they’ve come from tough times. We all turn around. LMK if you’d like to have a meet and greet. I have a wonderful life with a few kitties in the rescue here, but that means I don’t get as much quality time as I would like with my person, because I want all her time J. And she loves me VERY much. See you soon?

Have you ever earned the trust of a shy but ever-so-thoughtful cat? If you have, then you know there's nothing quite like it. My name is Cali, and I'm looking for my special person—the one who understands that some friendships take a little time to grow. You and I have got this. I mean, aren't I so cute? Is this you, who thinks: “I don't need a lap cat right away. I enjoy earning a cat's trust.”? I'm not the cat who rushes up to greet every visitor. I'm the cat who quietly chooses her people—and once I choose you, you'll know it. As a kitten, I ended up in a shelter and was at risk of being euthanized simply because I was shy. Years later, I'm still a sensitive girl. Loud homes, lots of activity, and too much commotion aren't really my style. What I love is peace, routine, and kindness. I’m selective, observant and particular, in all GOOD ways. Once I feel safe, you'll discover all the wonderful little things that make me, me. I love curling up in a cozy cat bed on the patio and watching the world go by. Sometimes I sneak onto Mom's bed and lie quietly beside her. I'm so stealthy that she doesn't even realize I'm there until she looks over and finds me keeping her company. I'm also a big fan of being brushed with a grooming glove and I never miss dinner time. I currently eat a prescription urinary diet to help keep me healthy, and I do great with it. My dream home would be quiet and predictable, with a person who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. I could be happy as your one-and-only cat, or possibly with one calm, friendly feline companion. I have dignity. I have opinions. I will sit beside you while you read a book. I like routine, and maybe you do, too? The best things in life are worth waiting for, and that's especially true of shy cats. The day I decide you're my person will be a day you'll never forget. And between us? I think my adorable quizzical face and funny little meow help, too. Could we be the perfect match?
