Amber is a gentle, soft-hearted little girl who was born outdoors and has been lovingly socialized since she was a tiny kitten. She is very sweet, calm, and loves affection; she just needs a little time to trust. Once she warms up, she melts into cuddles, enjoys gentle pets, and shows her affectionate side. She has a quiet, tender personality that makes her extra special. Amber recently transitioned indoors for the first time and is adjusting beautifully. With patience, a calm home, and loving reassurance, she will continue to blossom into a confident, loving companion. She would do amazing with someone who understands shy kitties and enjoys earning their trust — the bond you build with her will be incredibly rewarding. 💛 I wish I could keep her, but I am currently caring for my own cat who has cancer and cannot take on another long-term. Amber deserves a stable, loving indoor home where she can feel safe and cherished.

Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted.
