Story
Hubert is a coonhound mix estimatd to be 1-2 years old. He is very high energy and would do best with someone who can fulfill his exercise needs and/or someone with land. He is currently being fostered with dogs, cats, and a toddler. He plays rough with other dogs. He would do fine as a solo dog, but if there are other dogs in the house, they should be young with similar play styles. Hubert will sometimes run towards the cats and "play bow" in an attempt to play with them. He has big, goofy, puppy energy, and because of this, he will do best in a house with older kids. In no way is he aggressive. He was found on the street and was taken in. He has tested negative for heartworm, but will need a final test at the vet in August 2026. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and ready for his forever home. Hubert's adoption fee is $350. Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.
