Story
This is Rufus, he is a 1.5 year old American English Coonhound/Mountain Cur mix. He is currently right at 50lbs. We adopted him when he was about 4 months old. We had hoped he would be a companion for our older dog, but their personalities do not align. We would prefer to do a meet and greet with any potential doggy siblings before going to a new home. He is the sweetest boy and loves to snuggle with his humans. He’s extremely intelligent and recently completed a 3-week board and train program. Rufus is house-trained, crate-trained, and can walk in a perfect heel. He would thrive in a home with a big yard or on a farm where he has lots of room to roam.

Getting out, stretching her legs, and following her nose on new adventures. With the right balance of structure, activity, and enrichment, Birdie is going to shine. If you’re looking for a beautiful, spirited companion who will keep life interesting, Birdie is ready to meet you!
