Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders Transport Company. This is a wonderful gal!! She is very friendly and loves people. She likes to talk, play with other pups and be hugged by anyone! She would be a great adventure companion for any family. She has done well on a leash and in a car. She will need all of the basic training but should learn quite fast. She is ready to go!

Story
We adopted Copper over a year ago to keep our older dog (who had lost his companion) to keep him company. He is over a year and a half old. Copper has been a great playmate with our other dog, respectful with our kids ages 2-6 and is a great cuddler. Unfortunately our father’s health has declined to a rate where he needs to move in with us. Copper is sadly too big and high energy to have them both around. He needs a home where is able to get his energy out fully and given more attention.

Hi, Tusk is one of the best dogs I have ever had. Tusk is his own dog. He will let you know when he has to go to the bathroom. He follows directions easily. He likes other dogs. He is a coonhound. Because he is a hunting dog (chases rabbits, voles - anything non-arboreal), he is a little bit of a leash-puller. But he does really well with shock-absorbent leashes. I gently direct him toward me and then walks / runs along my side for the rest of the walk. He loves his walks. He would do really well with someone who loves to run / walk / hike. He walks / runs about one to two hours a day.

He’s crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy addition to many homes. Lincoln is looking for a family who will appreciate his sweet personality, silly habits, and loving heart. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with charm, cuddles, and a little sparkle still left in him, Lincoln is your guy 🐾 - Around 8 years old - Currently under 65lbs - Good with kids and dogs - Adoption fee: $100 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
Riley 5 years old. Pit Terrier/Coonhound Mix Lovable Couch Potato! Meet Riley. My wife and I adopted Riley as a puppy in 2021 from a local rescue in Berkley MI. Snuggle bug and absolute couch potato. She is somewhat shy at first but once she warms up to you she will be your best friend. Riley is fully house/potty trained. Up to date on all shots and vaccinations and is very healthy. No medications or dietary needs. She is spayed. Also knows basic commands such as sit, down, and crate. She does not beg or counter surf. We have made the difficult decision to re-home Riley because she does not do well with small children. She is tolerable of our other dog, but overall we think she would do best in a child-free and pet-free home. Riley will thrive in a quieter environment with a fenced backyard as she loves to explore! While our hearts are broken to have to re-home her, we feel that this will be a positive move that will put her into a more comfortable environment.
