Story
Meet Lincoln 🐾🤎 At 8 years old, Lincoln is proof that age is just a number! This handsome guy still has plenty of spunk left in him and a sparkle in his eyes that’s impossible not to love. He’s the perfect mix of laid-back companion and goofy best friend. Lincoln’s absolute favorite pastime? Wrapping himself up in blankets to create the famous “Lincurrito” 🌯💛 Whether it’s bedtime, nap time, or just lounging around, this cozy king loves being tucked in and comfy. He’s crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy addition to many homes. Lincoln is looking for a family who will appreciate his sweet personality, silly habits, and loving heart. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with charm, cuddles, and a little sparkle still left in him, Lincoln is your guy 🐾 - Around 8 years old - Currently under 65lbs - Good with kids and dogs - Adoption fee: $100 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. Story
Hi, my name is Sofia! I’m 3 years old (4 in June!) and I’m looking for a family with a lot of love AND a lot of space. I loooooove to run around and get the zoomies and play but I can also settle down for a nap and give the BEST snuggles. I have a lot of energy but I also have anxiety so I’m on medication that I’ll bring with me when you get me! I’ll also bring my favorite toys, food, my medical records, and my bed if you want me too! Just ask my current owner and discuss! My mom and dads house and yard are too small for me and they’re also dealing with work issues at the moment so they don’t have the means to make sure I’m the healthiest I can be. I know a few commands (including hugs!) and I’m super smart, so with the proper skills I can learn more! I’d love to love you if you’d let me! Kisses!

Story
Meet Salvatore! This 35-pound coonhound cutie is just a year old and is looking for a family like yours to share his life with! Curious and ready to explore, you can always find Salvatore following his nose in the yard. This dude loves the outdoors and enjoys every moment of his time with volunteers and his fellow kennel mates. He is very affectionate and gives great kisses too. Sal is very food-motivated and appreciates every tasty treat you share with him. Sal will benefit from lots of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and nose work. He will thrive with a yard to enjoy (fenced-in or tie out required). True to his breed, Sal loves to chat it up so a house environment would be best (no apartments please). He will make the ultimate companion for one lucky family! Based on our evaluation, we feel Salvatore would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the potential to live in a home with other dogs and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby! If you think he could be the guy for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our sensational Salvatore!
