Buddy is a deeply loyal, loving dog who forms a strong bond with his person. We rescued him in April 2020 and from the moment he arrived he attached to me with his whole heart. Inside the home buddy is calm, gentle and wonderfully well behaved. He is fully housebroken has free range of the house and has never chewed or destroyed anything. Buddy also came to us with anxiety and some behavioral challenges. He is selective with other dogs and cannot live with cats. He struggled with car rides, new environments and being left alone. His separation anxiety is significant and despite years of working with trainers and trying medication, he continues to feel unsafe when away from home. We love Buddy deeply, but his needs have grown beyond what we can provide, and it is now affecting my house.
