Story
Meet Gypsy Rose! This hound dog is ready to sniff out a new home for herself. Gypsy is strong-willed, stubborn, and independent - she would thrive as a farm dog or in a rural area where she's got tons of space to roam. Despite being six years old, Gypsy still has plenty of energy and enjoys walking, running, and exploring in nature. She would do well in an adult-only home, or teenagers would be fine too! She's shown mixed reactions towards other dogs - sometimes she gets fixated on them and pulls really hard when she sees them, other times she doesn't seem to pay them much attention. If you have dogs at home, Gypsy would be open to meeting them prior to adoption. Gypsy thinks she's the boss, so sometimes she becomes frustrated if she doesn't get what she wants. Her previous owners said she would sometimes pull really hard when she saw dogs outside, and then get stressed out and snap at the owners when she didn't get her way. She would benefit from some training to help redirect her attention in a constructive manner, before she gets too stressed out. Gypsy may not be a cuddly lap dog, but she still enjoys hanging out with her people! She doesn't like to be left alone in the yard for long periods of time because she can display separation anxiety; she prefers being outside with people, or in her home. Gypsy Rose is an easygoing girl who just needs the right place for her. Please consider giving her a new chance at life!

Story
How cute is this hound dog?! Sugar is a 9 month old female Coonhound mix puppy who weighs about 32 lbs. Sugar and her littermates were born and raised in a loving foster home after their mama showed up at the home of a Good Samaritan heavily pregnant and in terrible condition. Thankfully, this little family was offered a safe place to stay and mama was able to get the medical care she so badly needed. Sugar is the last of her litter still looking for a forever home and we cannot understand why! She'll try anything for a treat and is very eager to please. Sugar is housebroken, knows basic commands, and walks nicely on leash with her pack. She does well in her crate when her foster family is away, but only if she has a doggy pal around to show her it's okay. She has been living with a larger pack at her foster home, and will do best in a home with other dogs. Sugar is silly and sweet, and loves to snuggle on the couch with her people between play sessions. Being an active girl, she'd benefit from an active family and a home with a yard to run run run! She truly is a gem and so deserving of a forever home of her own. Please help us find Sugar the forever home she's been dreaming of!Interested in adopting?
