Story
Murphy was an owner surrender to the animal shelter in Washington, North Carolina. His previous owner stated he lost his job and could no longer provide for him. He was due to be put down by the shelter when Noah’s Arc pet rescue in Greenville, North Carolina intervened. I adopted him from them at the beginning of October 2025. After getting him home, I learned he has severe separation anxiety that can become destructive. He is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, has been micro chipped, and is currently on Prozac and gabapentin. He is a sweet boy who deserves a better home than I can currently give him. I have been working with him for the past three months. He is wonderful on walks, at the dog park with other dogs, and with my grandchildren. I generally do not put out personal information however I am returning to work on Monday. I work 13 hour days and believe Murphy needs more attention than my schedule will allow. Please only reach out if dedicated and serious.
