Story
This cutie is Cosmo Park Avenue. He is currently 11 weeks old and weighs approximately 12 pounds. We think he may be a Beagle mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that he is an adorable pup and among the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Cosmo's playful personality here: https://youtu.be/oLREEt49_h8?si=ph0SVN5ruVQOJzyF Cosmo is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his brother Mister Bigs and the other dog at his foster home. He takes lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Cosmo is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? At our 2-acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth, and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Douglas – The Lovable Rogue 🕷️ Douglas is one half of the infamous Spider Twins—a dynamic duo known for their roof-dwelling antics, garbage-can raids, and uncanny ability to turn ordinary days into comic-book adventures. While his wild ways sometimes get him into mischief, Douglas has a heart that shines brighter than all the trouble he stirs up. Yes, he’s a trickster. He’ll dig a hole just because it looks fun, swipe a snack when you’re not looking, and make you laugh with his unintentional slapstick routines. But underneath that chaos beats the heart of a dog who desperately wants to get it right. Douglas is eager to please, quick to learn when shown the way, and happiest when he has a job to do. He’s not looking to be the star of the show—he’s looking to be your loyal sidekick. The Robin to your Batman. The Samwise to your Frodo. He’ll cheer you on, make you laugh, and stand by your side through thick and thin. Douglas has failed to launch a few times, but that just means he’s still waiting for the right family who can handle a little chaos, celebrate his resilience, and help him spin his story into the happy ending he deserves. If you’re ready for a best friend who will keep life interesting, remind you to smile on hard days, and stick with you no matter what, Douglas is your guy. 🐾 Loyal, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. 🐾 Eager to learn and thrives with guidance. 🐾 Built for adventure—and for love. Douglas is ready to be your sidekick. Are you ready to be his hero? 🕸️💜

Story
MEET EMBER & BAILEY! These shy male and female Redbone Coonhound mixes need a foster or forever home and someone wonderful to take them in. They can be scared of new people, though will be better once they get to know you. Bailey, a 7-year-old male, is bonded to Ember, a -4-year-old female, and they could be related. Bailey weighs 85 lbs., and Ember weighs about 63 lbs. They were saved from a shelter and became urgent because they were scared. Both of these dogs were likely stuck in a backyard and as such, became frightened of humans, who didn't treat them right. They have done well with other dogs. If you can open your home and heart to these beautiful but shy dogs, and are able to give them the time they need to adjust, please consider this pair. They are gentle dogs. Ember, the female, is more timid than Bailey, but both need time and patience. Please email for an application.
