Story
Meet Khloe! Khloe is a sweet soul who absolutely adores cuddles and quality chill time with her favorite doggy friends. Whether she’s out on a leisurely walk or snuggled up on the couch with her people, she’s happy to be by your side and go with the flow. True to her hound roots, Khloe has a bit of a chatty streak—she’ll let you know when someone’s nearby with a few friendly barks—but she’s also great at settling down and relaxing when it’s time. Khloe is incredibly attentive and affectionate with her family—once she trusts you, she’s all about showering you with love and attention. She thrives on connection and will happily be your loyal shadow, soaking up all the pets and cuddles she can get. Khloe’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. Before finding safety here at the Ranch, she faced a tough life—passed around between a few irresponsible owners, enduring multiple pregnancies, and heartbreakingly, most of her litters didn’t survive. Left to fend for herself while pregnant the last time, her story is one of resilience and quiet strength. Thanks to a caring staff member who knew her past, we were able to step in and give Khloe the safety and love she deserves. Because of all she’s been through, Khloe can be a little slow to trust at first. But once she feels safe, she blossoms into a friendly and outgoing companion who’s eager to find her forever home. One important note—Khloe may be allergic to cranberries, so it’s best to avoid treats or food containing them. Could you be the loving family she’s been waiting for—a peaceful place where she can finally rest, relax, and know she’s truly safe? If Khloe sounds like the special girl for you, call the Ranch today to meet her and start a new chapter filled with love and healing. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Read Khloe's Dog of the Week post here:  https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-khloe/   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Sadie – The Life of the Party, the Keeper of Smiles, and One of Our Sweetest Seniors Sadie is the kind of dog who instantly fills a home with warmth. She’s a cheerful, loving girl who makes sure everyone feels included, appreciated, and adored. Her previous family shared the cutest stories of how she’d greet visitors at the door with her signature full-body wiggles, a huge smile, and enough enthusiasm to brighten anyone’s day. Sadie believes no guest should ever feel unwelcome — it’s just who she is. As one of the oldest and sweetest dogs on our property, Sadie has a heart full of love still waiting to give. She thrives in a home where people are around often — a busy family, a dedicated dog lover, or anyone who wants a companion always ready to offer comfort and connection. She simply wants to be near her humans, soaking up affection and sharing her gentle joy. True to her hound heritage, Sadie has a touch of stubborn charm and a strong love for the outdoors. Even in her senior years, she has a surprising amount of energy and a deep curiosity about the world. Nose games, scent-based toys, and puzzles make her light up — she’s all about using that wonderful hound nose! She may not be big on fetch or tug, but give her something to sniff and you’ll have her full attention. Sadie prefers to be the center of your world and might love being your one and only furry companion. That said, she has gotten along with calm male dogs in the past and may enjoy a respectful, easygoing friend. But above all, Sadie lives for human affection — especially butt scratches, snuggle time, and being told she’s a very good girl. Sadie deserves a soft place to land. Whether through adoption or fostering, this sweet senior girl deserves a loving home to spend her golden years. She has given so much love in her life — now she’s waiting for someone to give that love right back. If you’re a hound lover or simply someone with room in your heart for a gentle, quirky, endlessly endearing companion, Sadie will steal your heart the moment you meet her. Come meet Sadie and help her find the happy, cozy home she’s been waiting for. &#226&#128&#139Read Sadie's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-sadie/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
