Meet Odin, an 8-year-old, 53-pound tricolor Coonhound mix. This easygoing gentleman enjoys the quieter side of life, but don't let his calm demeanor fool you. He's still got a nose that loves to investigate every interesting scent and enjoys singing the song of his people! Odin is friendly, smart, and would prefer the company of calmer canine companions. A meet and greet is required if you already have another dog at home to make sure everyone gets along. Odin does have a few special dietary and medical needs, including hypothyroidism, a common condition that's managed with lifelong medication. The good news? His medication is readily available and relatively inexpensive! He's looking for a family committed to keeping him healthy, happy, and loved throughout his golden years. Odin is already neutered, and his adoption fee is just $50. If you've got a soft spot for soulful hound eyes, floppy ears, and the occasional backyard concert, come meet Odin at Williamson County Animal Center!

Picture Perfect Wendy is looking for a home! Wendy is not only model material (just look at her photos), she is also a model pup in behavior. Once a scared & untrusting girl, she is now brave and loves to play with other dogs, cuddle with her foster mom and fur siblings and meeting new people. While she loves to play with other young pups and we think she would excel in a home with a young playmate, we think she may be too playful for cats. Wendy is very affectionate and wants a family that wants her around as much as she wants to be around them (lots of cuddles and pets please). She is also very smart and is able to learn quickly making her a joy to go on adventures with and to teach her new things. We believe Wendy to be able 2 yrs old l, currently a health 50ish lbs. Everyone that meets him compliments him on what a good boy he is. Car rides are a favorite activity and he is a great co-pilot. Ariat is looking for a patient home that can continue to provide him with the love, stability, and positive reinforcement he deserves after he was failed by his first owners by being surrendered to a kill shelter where his time could have came to a fast end. Ariat does prefers the company of small dogs to dogs his size or smaller. We believe he may have had a bad experience larger dogs as he does growl but hasn't instigated a fight. Ariat pays no attention to cats and would make a great only dog as he is very human attention focused. We believe Ariat may be a hound huskie mix due to his adorable curly tail and thicker fur. Rill is an active senior who loves walks and exploring! She also loves to chill and snuggle up on her bed in her crate where she feels safe! She is about 8 years young now but still has her spunk and spirit! Rill is a Redtick Coonhound. We had actually adopted her out 6 years ago when she was 2 and her name back then was "Peanut" as life does have unexpected challenges, she was re-surrendered back to us to look for another home. We are hopeful that there is a special person out there that can give this ol' gal a loving home for the rest of her days. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative, and micro-chipped. Healthy as can be! This guy just wants to play! He will need some training around live stock and all things that run lol! He does enjoy chasing a chicken or two and seems to think they are just playthings! He would make an excellent dog for an active and/or outdoor sports person. Or even just kids to play with! He just wants a friend!
