Story
Meet Gilbert! A sweet little hound mix who is still just a baby, yet somehow has already found himself in a place that is completely unfamiliar to him. He didn’t ask for this, and he certainly didn’t do anything to deserve it. But if Gilbert is confused or worried about his circumstances, he sure isn’t letting it show! Instead, he’s choosing to be the goofiest, cutest, happiest little hound puppy he can be. That adorable face, those floppy ears, and that puppy personality make it pretty impossible not to fall completely in love with him. Gilbert is still a puppy, so he’ll need someone willing to patiently teach him all about being a dog, house manners, good puppy habits, and everything else that comes with growing up. But he already knows some of the important stuff: he loves his people, he loves other dogs, and he loves being included. All this little guy needs now is someone to give him a chance. Someone to guide him, love him, laugh at his puppy antics, and let him grow up knowing he is exactly where he belongs. Gilbert’s story is just beginning, and we’d really love for his next chapter to be the one where he finally gets his forever family. 🐶💕

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Sweet 3-year-old King has been waiting for his forever family for almost a year, and we think it’s time this shy boy finally gets his chance.King is a gentle, reserved dog who will need a little time to feel comfortable and show you his true personality. He isn’t the kind of pup who will immediately rush up and ask for attention — but with patience, kindness, and time, we believe there is so much more to King waiting to shine through. One thing King has made very clear is that he loves other dogs! Having a canine friend may help him feel more comfortable and confident as he adjusts to his new life. We’re unsure how he feels about cats, but we have never seen King display aggression toward anything.King is looking for a special person who understands that the best relationships sometimes take time to build. His adopter will need to give him the space and patience he needs to learn that he is safe, loved, and finally home. And there’s some wonderful news — King’s adoption fee has been sponsored! ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    October 4, 2026, 6:58 am

Story
Say hello to Forrest. He is as sweet as him namesake. A teenage boy took him from a suspicious situation to make sure he got the life he deserved. Thanks to that boy, Forrest made his way to one of our volunteers who instantly said “yes” to fostering him. He walked with a limp that she knew needed to be checked out and she was right. Forrest suffered a pelvic fracture sometime in his short little life. But the vet said it was already healing and with rest and proper support he would continue to heal and do great without surgery. And he is doing great. We don’t know what happened to cause this injury. We just know that his life is going to be amazing from here on out. He is fostered with other dogs and cats and he loves everyone he meets. His foster mom may be spoiling him :) He is doing great with house and crate training and he is a fast runner and learner. He will be great for a fun active family. We are estimating he was born about the end of May so he is a typical puppy with typical puppy energy and habits. He weighs about 15 pounds and we are having to guess at his breed mix. We are thinking he will end up being a medium dog. He will complete his vetting and be ready to travel to his forever home by then end of Sept. His adoption fee is $399 and if he has to be transported from TN where he is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 fee. If you are interested in adopting this sweet fella please start by submitting the adopt application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Most of your questions can be answered on our website at funnyfarmpets.org and check us out on FB too
