Meet Hamsterdam! 🐾 This sweet, lovable hound is thriving in foster care and showing everyone just how good of a boy he is. Hamsterdam’s true hound personality is shining through — calm, gentle, a little goofy, and full of charm. In his foster home, Hamsterdam lives peacefully with a 5-year-old child, multiple dogs, and cats, and he’s been nothing but respectful, polite, and easygoing with everyone. He’s quiet in the house, has had no accidents, and settles happily into his crate, which he’s learned is his safe, cozy space. Hamsterdam is a fast learner who’s eager to please. While he could use a bit of continued training to fine-tune his skills, he picks things up quickly and makes training a fun team effort. Indoors, he’s calm and content; outdoors, he enjoys just the right amount of playful hound energy. Like many hounds, Hamsterdam would love a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can run, sniff, zoom, and enjoy his hound-style adventures. He’s the kind of dog who fits right in, steals hearts effortlessly, and makes an excellent housemate. With his big heart, gentle nature, and classic hound flair, Hamsterdam is ready to find his forever home and become someone’s very best friend. 💙

Astro is a good boy very energetic.  He is a mixed breed he does have terrier in him.  His color is black with gray and white stripe going up his head and on his chest.  Short haired male and he is medium size sized.   He has been Neutered.  He appears to be good with people, dogs, and cats.  Although he does try to play with the cats and they are not too much about that.  He has befriended one of my indoor cats and semi-befriended a feral cat that lives in my yard.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
