Meet Gilbert! A sweet little hound mix who is still just a baby, yet somehow has already found himself in a place that is completely unfamiliar to him. He didn’t ask for this, and he certainly didn’t do anything to deserve it. But if Gilbert is confused or worried about his circumstances, he sure isn’t letting it show! Instead, he’s choosing to be the goofiest, cutest, happiest little hound puppy he can be. That adorable face, those floppy ears, and that puppy personality make it pretty impossible not to fall completely in love with him. Gilbert is still a puppy, so he’ll need someone willing to patiently teach him all about being a dog, house manners, good puppy habits, and everything else that comes with growing up. But he already knows some of the important stuff: he loves his people, he loves other dogs, and he loves being included. All this little guy needs now is someone to give him a chance. Someone to guide him, love him, laugh at his puppy antics, and let him grow up knowing he is exactly where he belongs. Gilbert’s story is just beginning, and we’d really love for his next chapter to be the one where he finally gets his forever family. 🐶💕
