Story
Meet Japan, a 1-year-old, 25Â㪶-pound mix of Corgi and Basset. (Note his short legs!) The best way to describe him is to quote his foster's description. “Very playful, dog friendly, vocal, loves to jump, loves playing with his kennel mate, loves to give kisses and just all around wants all the attention!” Sounds like a great dog to me! Don't you think? (posted 3/7/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **April 29, 2026, 4:14 pm

Story
Frank was found on the side of a County Road dragging a chain attached to an oversized collar. Frank was underweight and dirty but he is healthy now and ready for a loving home. Frank has completed all of his vet care with all of his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, no parasites and is microchipped. He is in a fabulous foster home with other dogs. He is good with young children and all people. He seems to favor his foster Dad, although he loves both foster parents tremendously. He loves to play with the ball and fetch. He can guard his food bowl at feeding time with the many other dogs being fed too. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog since he loves human attention and affection. We are estimating that Frank is 6 years old, he may be younger , he may be older. Frank is a sweet and loving little man and deserves a loving home and not to be chained up in an outside environment. Please consider giving him the home he deserves. Frank's foster family can answer any of your questions about Frank. you can email us at CAAWARescue@yahoo.com.

Harvey has all the right moves! He wiggles, he squiggles, he prances and dances like a star. Harvey loves attention and will put on his best happy dance to greet you and get you to give him all the scritchies and cuddles his heart desires. This little burst of happy energy needs to be your only fellow. A low-rider, he will fit well into just about any home. We know he looks portable,  but Harvey is not down with being carried.  Est DOB: Sep 2018 * Est weight: 30# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksMarch 7, 2026, 12:01 pm
