🐾 Meet Sofie! 🐾
Sofie is a 1-year-old Corgi mix weighing about 20 pounds of pure fun and affection. She’s a high-energy girl who truly thrives with other dogs in the home and loves having playmates to burn off her zoomies. 🐕💨
This sweet pup adores children, toys, food, and treats 🍖🧸. She does excellent in a kennel and goes in willingly — especially if snacks are involved. Because she doesn’t enjoy sharing meals, Sofie should be fed in her kennel only to keep everyone happy and safe. 🥰
Sofie is leash trained, potty trained, and does best with a consistent potty schedule. She’s a total speedster, so a fully fenced yard is required ⚡🏡. Outside playtime is one of her favorite things, and if she doesn’t have dog friends around, she’ll happily entertain herself by chasing squirrels 🐿️.
Hair & Grooming: Sofie’s coat will require some maintenance — not full-on grooming, but regular brushing and the occasional trim ✂️✨.
Small Animals: Corgis have a strong prey drive, so she is not a good match for homes with small animals 🐇🐭.
Despite her energy, Sofie is very people-oriented ❤️. She loves staying close to her person, soaking up attention, and tagging along for adventures. Car ride? Yes please! 🚗 She’s an excellent rider and enjoys being your co-pilot. And when the day winds down, she’s more than happy to curl up in your lap for cuddles 🛋️💛.

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Requirements:
All current pets over 6 months must be spayed/neutered (medical exemption allowed only with vet confirmation).
Current dogs must have Rabies and DHPP vaccinations.
Consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention is required for both current and past dogs listed on applications.
Please note: The dog you’re applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network. Don’t worry though — we’re always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!)
