Story
Maggie came to us from Hope Shelter in Hope, AR. She is a senior, deaf, heartworm positive, and has arthritis. She is incredibly soft and sweet though. She doesn’t love to cuddle too much but her happy place is on a cushy bed dreaming the day away. She doesn’t need much- someone to let her live out her golden years! She is receiving heartworm treatment and has had all her shots. She takes a daily pain medication for her joints and is on a bit of a diet. If you’re looking for a dog that won’t jump up or knock you down, she’s a great choice. Perfect for a senior citizen that just needs a companion!

Story
We picked snoopy up from a Harps parking lot as a 6 wk puppy. He’s been dewormed, treated for fleas + ticks, and vaccinated for rabies. He’s now 2.5 years old. He’s a very playful and sweet dog in the home. Loves tug of war and playing with toys. Completely potty and kennel trained. We are looking for a new home for him because we just had a baby and he is not acclimating as well as we would like him to. He’s also escaping the back yard and running through the neighborhood. He needs a home where he can have extra attention and can be the main focus. He does get along well with our other dog but any nee dogs outside the home need to be introduced cautiously.

Story
Meet Bessie! She is a Corgi/Border Collie mix (Borgi) who is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. She is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 33 lbs. These dogs make excellent service dogs. She is alert and intelligent like a Border Collie and built like a Corgi. Both breeds are for herding animals and are attentive to the needs of their person/family. I had one save his person's life when she went into a diabetic coma and he alerted her husband. These are great companions. Please call or e-mail Aleta at 479-234-0417 or RockinAASanctuary@currently.org for more information.
