Photo of Harlowe

Male, Adult
North Little Rock, AR
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date, House-trained,
This is Harlowe. He was adopted from a shelter in Oklahoma in June of last year. He’s a very sweet and loving dog but sadly he has horrible anxiety. He is scared of loud noises. Especially cars and city noise. I live in the city and it’s not the best environment for him. I have to force him to go outside and potty every time. He needs to live in the country somewhere. Somewhere not next to the highway with a fenced in backyard. My apartment is sadly not where he needs to be. He is currently taking Prozac and it seems to help some. He does well around other dogs but can nip at them if they get near his food or treats. He seems to ignore cats and not really pay them any mind. He hasn’t been around many kids but he’s such a sweet dog that I’m sure he would do fine. He just needs a great home in the country with owners that are very patient. He would probably do well if he had another dog to live with as well.

Male, 1 yr
Springdale, AR
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Meet Benedict, a charming and energetic 1-year-old male who is incredibly treat motivated. This lovable canine companion is not only a quick learner but also knows the basic command of "sit." However, it is important to note that Benedict can sometimes be mouthy during play, so it is recommended to ensure supervision during interactions. Due to this playful nature, it is advisable for Benedict to be placed in a home with no young children. Gentleness evokes his calmer side and he will sit or lay on your lap to soak up the attention. But, he waits for any signal that activity is near...he's ready to go! Benedict is exceptionally friendly towards cats and dogs, making him an ideal addition to a multi-pet household. Whether you're looking for a devoted furry friend or a delightful playmate for your other pets, Benedict is a wonderful choice with his treat-driven enthusiasm and sociable demeanor.

Corgi/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Male, Senior
Fayetteville, AR
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date, House-trained,
Mikey is a tripod about 9 yrs old, but it doesn't stop him from normal activities. He walks normal, runs very fast, can jump up on sofa or chair if allowed. He is a sweet dog and would make a stay at home person the perfect companion. He doesn't like being left to himself for long periods of time, maybe 3-4 hours and is not crate trained, however he sleeps all night in his own bed. He is house broken and will let you know when he needs to go out to potty, he also loves walks. Mikey is up to date on all shots and chipped, I’ll be glad to give you his vet’s name and any records you may need. He eats PureBalance dry food (Walmart) sometimes with a little baked or boiled chicken mixed in. Our son who a was a veteran, now deceased adopted Mikey and he was a wonderful companion and emotional support to him. We have had him for the past 3 years but now he needs a forever home. Prefer if he can remain in the NW Arkansas area.
