Story
Meet Harley! This chubby little girl is the most adorable girl you will ever meet. She likes spending time with you, she loves playing with the ball but she prefers time by your side more. When I say she's really adorable, it's because she is! She plays with other dogs, small, medium or large, she lives with cats although sometimes she usually runs after them to play (And cats that are not used to dogs don't like that) Potty trained with potty pads, crate trained, and good with adults and children. With strangers she is usually sociable, she is a very curious, loyal dog, and ready to play with you and receive cuddles at all times. She loves to give you kisses on the face, give you her paw to play with and she will always receive you from work with a huge smile. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Loki is an amazing loving dog that is very energetic and loves to play fetch and with toys. He is crate trained, board and trained and ESA certified. The reason for the rehoming is that he is too attached to me and does not get along with my girlfriend of 4 years that just moved in due to “protecting” me. Loki does have EPI and has prescription food.

Story
Meet Huski Huski is a 6-year-old gentle soul who has nothing but love to give. He’s the kind of dog who melts into your heart the moment you meet him — sweet, calm, and always ready for a cuddle or a friendly tail wag. He adores children, loves being around people, and enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s been living peacefully with two furry friends, proving just how easygoing and kind he truly is. Sadly, Huski’s world has been turned upside down. His loving owner has passed away. Through no fault of his own, this wonderful boy is now in need of a new home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of a family again. Huski deserves a second chance at happiness — a forever home where he can spend the rest of his years being cherished, just as he cherishes everyone around him. If you would like to meet Huski or learn more about him, please reach out to Marta: martalevison@gmail.com 650-740-0816September 5, 2025, 1:32 pm

Meet Riceball: Professional Snuggler with Strong Opinions Riceball is affectionate, cuddly, and fully committed to the snuggle life. He loves giving kisses, going on car rides like a VIP passenger, and will absolutely invite himself into your bed for mandatory cuddle sessions. He’s house trained and very polite. Riceball is great with other dogs, cats, and all humans (yes, even strangers). The only thing he’s a little sassy about? If he’s curled up and cozy, he prefers not to be physically relocated — and honestly… same. If you’re looking for a goofy, loving, ride-or-die cuddle buddy with a tiny attitude and a huge heart, Riceball is your guy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Fosters: Megan 409-202-0613 sealinkchan@gmail.com Ben- ew2rusch@gmail.com or 678-951-5809November 30, 2025, 12:19 am

ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Tony! Tony is a sweet and quirky 1-year-old, 30-pound supermutt (we think maybe a little Chihuahua, a little Corgi, and a whole lot of adorable!). He’s the perfect mix of High/Medium energy—full of fun, puppy playfulness, but also able to settle in and relax once he’s had his exercise. Tony gets along great with women, older kids, and other dogs, and would thrive in a home that has another friendly pup to show him the ropes. Some of his favorite activities include going for walks, hopping in the car for adventures, and—most importantly—any activity that involves food, which is his absolute greatest motivation. This lovable boy is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows how to sit like a champ. He’s still working on his recall (right now it’s… not great!), and he’d benefit from continued positive training—especially with a patient, calm adopter who understands how to build trust through kindness and treats. Tony can feel nervous around men, bikes, or when someone corrects him too firmly, so he needs someone who will make him feel safe and supported. Tony’s personality is pure joy: he’s funny, affectionate, and does the cutest little tippy-taps when he knows food is coming. His favorite place to be is snuggled right up in your face—often with all ten toes pointed to the sky. He’s not a big barker and would do well in a home where someone is around during the day. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, food-loving sidekick with a heart of gold, Tony might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to find a family who will love him for the gentle, goofy boy he is. Tony can’t wait to meet you! He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  December 12, 2025, 1:30 pm
