I adopted Jimbo from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter back in 2017. My girlfriend and I, at that time, wanted another dog to accompany our other small breed dog when we're not at home. Jimbo is now 10 years old and will be turning 11 in August 28. He is a very sweet dog and the only down side is that he has separation anxiety, and it makes it very difficult to leave him at home all alone, especially with my busy work schedule. He was never a picky eater but he has become so lately. I have tried different types of food and he eats little to none of them. I am also currently facing financial struggles so I can't even afford to take him to a vet to have him checked. I really do not want surrender him back to an animal shelter, but if there's no other option I might have to. I am hoping there will be another dog lover out there who is able to take him in.

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog E:2 Rocky Balboa is a cute corgi mix boy looking for peace, love and understanding. He appreciates a slow approach from new friends who will allow him time to get comfortable before accepting pets. He gets along well with other small dogs, trotting and respectfully interacting with others. Rocky walks well on leash and likes tasty treats, which will help with training. Because of his handling sensitivities, Rocky will do best in a quiet adult household (children over 13 may be ok) that will give him space and time to get comfortable in his new surroundings. Meet Tobby!!! This boy is about 27 lbs and 2 yrs old. Tobby was found roaming in a high traffic street about to be run over by a car. A person stopped the car and he immediately jumped in! He was not in bad shape, therefore we suspect he got out of his home. His family couldn't be located, despite networking and efforts to find them. He was transferred to Dog Rescue Without Borders, moved in with a loving foster that has other dogs. Tobby immediately high it off with everyone, just like he had been living in that home for years! Tobby loves people and he is very obedient. He is not food aggressive, but he loves to eat! He is very food motivated. He is also very playful and not a barker. He can socialize with dogs of all sizes. He walks on leash but tends to pull a little. House training is in progress. He sleeps in his doggy bed, and gets hot easily. Tobby deserves a forever loving family! An active family with another fun dog would be a huge plus. If interested please submit your application at www.drwb.org

This is GiGi. She looks like a mix of corgi and cocker maybe. She was left behind when her family was deported. She is shy and unsure of all the changes so she needs someone to be patient but she is very loving once she feels safe. She is great with dogs of all sizes and cats. She plays well with all the dogs in her foster home. She is pee pad trained and we are working on full housetraining. She weighs 38 pounds and is spayed and vaccinated.
