Story
The rescue was contacted about Rhonda because she was a street dog who had a terrible skin infection on her rear leg. Her advocate had already started treating it but she really needed to be off the street in a clean environment for the treatment to be successful. It took about 2 months but we were finally able to get this skin infection to clear and the wounds that it caused to close completely! She is now ready for her forever home! She loves playing in the yard and lounging in the Sun for long naps. She is not a high-energy dog, she prefers to snuggle and hang out around the house. She is very sweet and absolutely loves getting attention and kisses!

Story
Clyde was part of a group of dogs in Tijuana Mexico who came in from a dog hoarding situation. The dogs were kept in crates 24/7 and never allowed out. They ate, drank, a defecated all in the same tiny cramped crate with no escape. Bonnie, Clyde, and Dennis were sent to us together. They were kept in crates the majority of the time so they are still learning socialization skills. They have blossomed so much since they have been here but we know with your help they can truly see how good life can get! They would do best in a home with no children and a secure yard and patient humans with big hearts!

Story
JJ is a handsome one eye LOVE. He has quite the rescue story. JJ was born April 26, 2022 to a homeless woman. She loved and cats for him a much a she could. It shows in how affectionate he is. His nineties mom left him and her other dogs with a friend while she lived in her car. Her friend died and the dogs were taken to Animal control. She couldn't afford to bail any of the dogs out so she contacted my rescue to save him from getting euthanized. JJ was at the shelter thirty days and no one asked for him. The staff at the shelter told me he was extremely friendly and had playmates at the shelter. I pulled JJ at 3:30 from being euthanized at 4:00. I learned JJ was attacked by a coyote eight months before he ended up at the shelter. His mom couldn't afford to usage him to the vet and she watched him bleed fun his eye and neck for weeks. His outside tissue healed. His eye had ruptured and looked fairly normal and it didn't stop him from being his happy, silly self. I decided to remove his eye to avoid an infection in the future. Having one eye definitely doesn't show him down. He loves to play fetch. He is a total lap dog and loves snugglingwith his heard on your shoulder. JJ likes stuffed toys and plays fetch. He's a happy walker on a leash. Couch potato and plays fetch from the couch. JJ is toys adorable, squatty, little man of 31 lbs, with legs 10" high and a body 24" forehead to his butt. I'm guessing his mixed breed butt his body shape of a Corgi and color markings of a Boarder Collie. I do know he is full of love for everyone. Kennel trained. Fixed, vaccinated, microchiped.

Story
Ollie is the prettiest girl - just look at that face! We think she is about 4 years old. Currently, she's about 60lbs, but is dieting to loose a few pounds. With her short little legs and larger body, she resembles a Corgi and an English Shepherd mix. Ollie is a happy, affectionate pooch. She enjoys meeting new people, but seems to gravitate to men. She is the most polite walker on leash, will sit calming for harnessing and rarely pulls during her walks. Ollie knows a few commands, like sit, wait and shake. She seems comfortable with all-over handling - ears, paws, lips/mouth for teeth checks. She enjoys being brushed. Ollie enjoys the company of other dogs, but appreciates slow and proper introductions to allow time to build trust in her new canine friends. She would prefer a feline-free home. She is crate trained and doesn't fuss when crated. Ollie enjoys ALL the toys. I'll often find her surrounded by all the dog toys that she's pulled from the toy box, trying to decide upon the one she likes best. She is a fairly quiet dog, who rarely vocalizes. She does the cutest woo-woo-woo when she gets excited and wants to play. And will even do a zoomie or two from time to time. Overall she is mostly an easy-going girl, who enjoys taking leisurely walks, and getting belly rubs while lounging on the couch with her favorite people. Ollie is spayed, UTD on vax, and microchipped. If you or anyone you know is interested in meeting Ollie, please let me know and we'll set up a meeting! Interested in meeting Ollie?
