🥒 Meet Luna! 🐾 Meet Luna, aka Pickles, an adorable 4-month-old Corgi mix with a BIG personality packed into a unique little body! Take a closer look and you might find yourself asking, “Is that a Corgi mixed with a Belgian Malinois?” We see it too! While we cannot verify her exact breed mix, one thing we can tell you is that Luna has many of the qualities you would expect from a smart, energetic working dog. Luna is outgoing, incredibly intelligent, treat-motivated, and eager to learn. She is smart as a whip and, with patience and consistency, we believe this girl could learn just about anything—especially when there’s a treat involved! Because Luna appears to have working-dog traits, her future family should understand that she will need more than just a backyard. She needs mental stimulation, exercise, training, and a job to do. Whether that's learning new commands, going on adventures, playing enrichment games, or becoming someone's active companion, Luna wants to use that clever little brain of hers. Luna came into our rescue after a kind person found her several months ago and held onto her, hoping an owner would come forward. Unfortunately, no one did. Now Luna is ready to stop waiting and start the next chapter of her life. She would do best with a patient individual or family who has plenty of love, time, and commitment to give her. In return, we think Luna has everything it takes to become an incredible, loyal, all-around companion. This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/31 They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.  Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2878183##

Lenny comes from Washington. He didn't come to my home until he was 7.5 months old. He's one of the sweetest and goofiest boys i have ever met! He's a drama King like most male corgis. A rain drop means they are going to die and the entire world must know lol. Hes shy, but confident once he warms up. He is not a fan of being picked up or held but will sit with you and cuddle. He is not a fan of the water portion of grooming and tends to voice hia disapproval as though hes a husky. He will be your shadow and all it takes is a quick GOOBER BOOTY to get his attentiohis DOB: 03/04/2024Please look out for an email. I will have a few more questions before we decided on a bew home.Thank you The Perry Family!
