Story
Super sweet and spicy! Gigi is a 5-month-old, approximately 14 lb. Corgi mix likely with Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, or Heeler. Or velociraptor. Her sweet brown eyes will melt your heart. She was surrendered after the arrival of a baby. Gigi is looking for a home with an experienced, active, and involved adopter. She is very sweet and full of puppy energy. She is not a good fit for a first time herding breed owner. She has been very friendly with dogs and people, but her rambunctious play is going to be too intense for children. She is working on potty training and is doing incredibly well. Daily walks, exercise, and mental stimulation are a must, as is a secure fenced yard for her to run in. Gigi would love a tolerant playmate who is also very active and loves to wrestle. Puppy manners class is highly recommended to help her focus and bond. She is very smart and has learned to use the dog door, and also rides very well in the car. Microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines, Gigi would love to snuggle very close to you on the couch at night to keep you warm.  If you are interested in meeting Gigi, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Her adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.  February 19, 2026, 11:47 am

Story
Simba is about 3 years old and was an owner surrender along with his mom and sister (both adopted). His mom looked just like full corgi, dad unknown. His sister was heavier than he is and also looked more corgi. Simba has a corgi like face but a shorter, thinner torso and longer legs. He is a small boy at right around 20 lbs. He is great with all dogs, people and cats. He does well in a crate and likes to cuddle. He is not a runner and always stays near the house eventhough he has 40 acres to roam around on. He is the perfect small dog. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tacoma, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Jewels is a super sweet, happy and relatively obedient 3 year old Corgi mix. She was adopted from a rescue as a puppy and had lived with the same human for all of her life who sadly had to give her up due to health reasons. She named her Jewels because of her beautiful blue eyes. I recently adopted her however I live alone, work too much and know she deserves so much more than I can give her. Jewels is an absolutely wonderful dog. She weighs just over 30 pounds, is great on the leash(seems good off leash), potty trained, plays fetch, adores belly rubs plus she's okay with my silly cat! Previous owner said she loves to play with other dogs and children!!

Story
Wanted: unpaid bipedal servant to shower judgmental golden-ager with love, belly rubs, and limitless compliments.   Aspen is a sweet even tempered Corgi/mini Aussie mix looking for a soft place to start over after her human struggled to keep her. She’s approx 8 y/o and 36#. She should lose a few pounds to get to a healthier weight. She’s a relatively low maintenance girl who requires daily walks to keep her in shape. She’s potty trained, likes her crate as a safe space, dog friendly, and in good health, although she will need a dental soon. We don’t recommend young children <10 or excitable young dogs in her new home just to protect her zen. She likes belly rubs and being with her person so someone home more often than not would be best. We have not cat tested her but her previous owner said that she’s fine with cats. She’d love a fenced in yard and a kind hearted human who will love and care for her. Aspen is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. If you are interested in meeting Aspen the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Aspen’s adoption fee is $300 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.February 11, 2026, 5:36 pm
