Story
Adopting as a pair only! Maple and Minnow are two delightful corgi half sisters now in search of a new home. Due to a change in circumstances, their family is no longer able to keep them.  Maple is the older of the sisters, she is 4 and Minnow is 3.  Maple has the wider white stripe up her nose and is slightly bigger, but otherwise these girls look a lot alike. Maple: - Fiercely loyal and obsessed with her people - Cuddle-bug who wants to be a lap-dog despite her size - Loves to play but also values her downtime and naps Minnow: - The sensitive sweetheart with go-with-the-flow energy - Loves her family and her big sister - Energetic, playful, and quite the impressive star athlete Maple and Minnow would love a family that is not gone long hours, and a fenced back yard to play in would be ideal.  The love to meet people and think everyone is a new friend. They are house trained and enjoy daily walks.  They are spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you would like to meet Maple and Minnow the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Their adoption fee is $750, and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.December 28, 2025, 4:09 pm

Story
Lucy Is a red headed  tri Pembroke  Corg i  found  as a stray in  Fort Collin s.  Lucy is 3-5 y/o,  30  lbs,  and spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-.    Lucy recently saw a local vet due to leaking urine. She ha d  a severe urinary tract infection which  was treated with  antibiotics  but she is still leaking very little urine. She is now on Proin and DES which helps her  and she will likely need to be on this medication for the rest of her life. Lucy is  potty trained, leash trained, uses a dog door,   crate trained,  and rides well in the car .  Lucy has a dominant type of personality  and likes to be in charge of other dogs.   She is easily excitable which can also be a trigger for her reactivity. She respects large dogs but may challenge smaller dogs or like minded dogs.   She does well with dogs that won’t challenge her. She has done well at on leash encounters with neutral dogs.   Lucy would  benefit from   a basic manners class .  She knows how to sit and stay for a short time.  Lucy does not have a reliable recall and  cannot  be trusted off leash.   Lucy doesn’t like typical dog treats but she does like  cooked  chicken or beef as   treats. She is fed separately from her foster siblings and slowly eats her kibble  taking about 5-10min. Lucy  is shy a nd insecure  with new things .  It takes her  awhile  to interact  so her new owner needs to give her time and be patient .  Lucy  approaches  men quicker than  women but is generally insecure when meeting others.  She is a quick  learner but will  tend   to choose  avoidance so needs to gain some confidence in social settings .  Lucy   is good with cats and livestock. She does like to chase chickens but will stop when told.   Lucy will be very loyal to that special person or family. Lucy is very friendly  and likes to cuddle . She would prefer a home with a mellower dog or no other dogs and would do well with  an  older person  or  family  with o lder  children. Lucy likes to be near her people and is a lap puppy so someone home during the day would be ideal. She prefers to sleep on  a couch or on the foot of the bed.  Lucy is a very sensitive  gal and  requires a gentle touch. If you’re interested in meeting Lucy the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Lucy’s adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.December 28, 2025, 4:09 pm

Story
Igor, aka Iggy, Ziggy, is a Professional Fun Haver! This little guy is approx 8 mos, 20 lbs, and full of personality and sweetness. He can be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up and will become your bestie in no time. He loves chasing after a ball or frisbee and will do best with someone who enjoys playing with him. He has not been tested with cats or kids but a respectful child 10+ may be considered. He crates like a champ and sleeps through the night. Leash and potty training are work in progress and he requires a secure fenced in yard. Active humans who aren’t gone long hours would be best and he’d love a friendly canine companion. Ziggy would benefit from a basic manners class to bond, learn, and gain confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Ziggy, the first step tis to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Ziggy is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $475 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.December 26, 2025, 10:08 am
