Story
Leslie Knope is currently located at our Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Leslie Knope is pretty much perfect! This sweet young cattle dog mix has a gentle, easygoing personality that's a little mellower than you might expect from her breed. She loves people, is tolerant of other dogs, and we think she'd likely do great with kids, too. With her friendly nature and loving heart, Leslie is ready to find the lucky person or family she can call her own. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a loyal best friend, Leslie is eager to be by your side. Could you be the one she's been waiting for? Come meet Leslie Knope and see if she's the perfect addition to your family! 🐶💕

Story
If someone crossed a fluffy teddy bear with a loaf of bread and added a dash of genius, you'd get Klein. This adorable 13 week-old Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog mix has the best of both worlds: short little Corgi legs, a super fluffy coat, and a huge personality. Watching Klein run is guaranteed to make you smile—those tiny legs work overtime to keep up with his big puppy ambitions! Klein is outgoing, confident, and always ready to make a new friend. Whether it's people, dogs, toys, or an interesting leaf blowing across the yard, he's convinced the world is full of exciting adventures waiting to happen. Thanks to his Australian Cattle Dog heritage, Klein is a smart cookie who loves learning new things. Thanks to his Corgi side, he also believes everything is his business and will happily supervise all household activities. Folding laundry? Calvin can help. Watching TV? Calvin can help.  This sweet boy is looking for a family that will appreciate his playful spirit, clever mind, and endless affection. Story
This pup will be available to meet starting on 6/13 They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico  Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2755567##

Story
Wylie is a 5 y/o, 44#, Corgi(or Corgi/Border Collie mix). The handsomest, most regal boy there ever was! He is the definition of "I am just happy to be here!" His cheerful, friendly smile says it all! He loves every person he's met (he even tried to ride along with the UPS driver) and adores respectful kids 10+. Wylie is looking for an adopter who can gently support him on his weight loss journey, as he still has a few pounds to his target weight. He loves his walks and is doing better as he loses a little weight. Playing ball is another passion for him although he is currently on vet-restricted zoomies while he loses his weight so as not to aggravate a potential soft tissue injury (foster has been nursing this per vet recommendation) to his stumper. Wylie has done very well at not marking anymore, but he will also need to be watched, gently reminded, and let out very regularly to make sure he doesn't fall back into old habits. He likes to be around other dogs, but does not necessarily engage or play with them too much. Wylie is looking for a home where his human is not gone for long periods and has a fenced in yard. Shared walls are not a good fit for Wylie. He is untested with cats. Wylie’s adoption fee is $400 and includes his recent neuter and dental, microchip, HWT, and vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Wylie, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Wylie’s adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.June 18, 2026, 10:29 pm
