I am looking for a loving and patient home for my dog. He came into my life during the pandemic when a nurse who originally purchased him could no longer care for him due to her demanding hospital schedule. Since then, he has been part of my life, and this has not been an easy decision. He is a loyal and devoted dog who bonds strongly with his person. He is affectionate in his own way, but he is not a dog that enjoys constant physical affection like hugging or kissing. He prefers calm interactions and a respectful environment. He is a sensitive and alert dog with strong herding instincts, which is typical for his breed. He may try to herd people by gently nipping at ankles, especially when he feels overstimulated or unsure. Because of this, he would do best with someone familiar with herding breeds or willing to understand his behavior. He is not comfortable with chaotic environments or with people being overly physically affectionate around him. He prefers a calm home where routine

Story
Bailey is in Chicago NOT Fort Lauderdale Bailey is 6 years young, he has been my ride or die buddy, and now that I travel so much he needs someone that can devote th time he deserves. He LOVES to play! He needs a home with a yard that he can run and explore in and maybe a child or two that will want to play with him. OR Someone that has the time to spend with him at home, go on long walks and throw toys for him to fetch. He likes to sleep in the bed with his person (spooning) and he has always been allowed on furniture. I want him to be happy and I would love occasional updates on him and how he is doing and if it does not work out I will take him back rather than he go to a shelter.
