Story
Washburne | 7.5 y/o | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | 📍Boise, Idaho Introducing Washburne, a 7.5-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who may just be the unicorgi 🦄 you've been waiting for. If you've always loved corgis but worried about keeping up with their endless energy, Washburne offers all the loyalty and personality of the breed in a more gentle, homebody package. Washburne is curious, observant, and deeply devoted to his people. He thrives on predictable routines and feels most secure in a calm, low-key home. He loves riding in the car and would happily be your co-pilot for errands or road trips. With the proper set-up, he could also be a great match for RV travelers or a trucker's companion. He is seeking an adult-only household where he can be the only dog. He is not a good fit for homes with small children but may be able to live with dog-savvy cats who respect his space. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for steady, devoted company; he'd be perfect for someone who is retired. Due to a ligament condition requiring ongoing pain management, Washburne needs a home willing to support his physical needs. He has a good quality of life but requires ramps or stairs for furniture (we're happy to help build them); runner rugs or carpet for traction; and ideally a single-story home. A securely fenced grassy yard is required, as he cannot handle multiple daily leash walks for potty breaks. Maintaining a healthy weight is essential for protecting his joints. He is trustworthy when left out in the house alone and cannot be kenneled for long periods of time. Washburne is potty trained and knows sit, lay down, roll over, shake, and other paw. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. If you're ready to offer a peaceful home and receive loyal companionship in return, Washburne may be your perfect match. Application, home check, and adoption contract are required.

Story
Hello! I'm Gus. I'm four years old. I turn five a few days after thanksgiving. I'm a cuddle bug! I love snuggling up with you on the couch or in your bed. I love playing fetch, I could go for hours!! Water is my favorite! Take me for a swim and I'll be stoked! I'm a little anxious guy and I like when there aren't other pets or small kids around. I just want to be loved, given all the pets, and I'll be yours forever!
