Story
Sadie was surrendered at the shelter through no fault of her own. As we’ve gotten to know Sadie better, we’ve learned she’s not your typical laid-back, cuddly corgi. Sadie is a very driven, active girl who thrives with structure, routine, and having something to keep her busy. She is incredibly smart, confident, vocal, and full of classic corgi personality. If you’ve ever met a corgi and thought “this dog definitely has opinions,” Sadie would agree 😅 Sadie is looking for: • A confident owner who can continue her training and provide clear boundaries • A fenced yard • A job, activity, or consistent mental stimulation • A single family home with no shared walls because this girl loves to chat 😅 • An only-pet home with no other dogs and no cats • An adult-only home with no kids The good news? Sadie is crate trained and doing well working on her leash skills. She’s incredibly smart and enjoys learning, she just needs the right person to help her continue building confidence and skills. Sadie is not for a first-time dog owner or someone looking for an easygoing couch potato. She will do best with someone who appreciates a dog with big energy in a short-legged package. For the right person, Sadie is going to be a fun, loyal, entertaining companion with lots of personality.

Story
Meet Ivy! This beautiful 5 year old Corgi girl is officially searching for her forever home! Ivy is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to settle into a calm home where she can truly shine. Ivy is looking for a home where she can be the only dog, especially inside the home, as she prefers having her people all to herself. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who loves companionship, enjoys her walks, and appreciates a predictable routine. She also LOVES playing with her toys. ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Housebroken ✔️ Walks well on leash ✔️ Spayed & fully vetted Ivy would do best in a home with children 12 and older who can respect her space and help her feel comfortable. She’s a wonderful match for someone looking for a devoted sidekick to share daily walks, cozy evenings, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a mature, well mannered Corgi companion, Ivy may be your perfect match. ❤️🐾

Story
We purchased rue from a breeder about 9 months ago. Our lives how now changed and with both of us working two jobs, we have no time to care for her properly the way she deserves. We looking for an honest and loving home for our baby, where her needs can be met. She loves learning new tricks! A few she knows are sit, wait, back up, down, up, paw, high five, and spin! She has a pretty good recall and is always so attentive! She does potty outside, but she has accidents sometimes so she’s listed as not potty trained.

Story
Luna’s a 1.5yo 9lb Chi/corgi mix. She's dog, cat and kid friendly. She needs warm up time with new people. She’s working on house training and is pee pad and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She does bark at strangers. She’s very shy until she gets to know you, but once she gets to know her people. she doesn't leave your side. She is perfectly content with just sitting in your lap 24/7 & cuddle. She loves playing fetch with her stuffed babies or her ball. She can be a barker but usually only if someone is at the door or if she's people watching out a window, she's quiet otherwise. She is a VERY HIGH Jumper, she jumped out of an open dog pen that is about 2 1/2 feet high. Luna’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard with her people out with her, another small, friendly dog, be allowed on the furniture and sleep in bed with them, along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Luna as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Luna is spayed, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped. Currently in NE Phila, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
