This litter of pups turned 7 weeks old on 5/5/24 and will be ready for adoption this weekend when they are 8 weeks old. Their mom is a smaller mix, weighing 23 pounds and dad is unknown but possibly a lab mix. The puppies seem to be a mix of a lot of breeds and based on current weights will probably weigh around 30-35 pounds full grown. Picture of mommy dog included on post! Mommy dog has the best temperament and the pups are sure to follow in her footsteps. They are social with other dogs and loves humans. As with any puppy, they will need continued training. This sweetie is Sally (Sourpuss). She is a little shy but loves to play once she gets going. She just has the cutest wrinkly little face! Fiona is described as an energetic happy girl who loves everyone she meets. She likes other dogs and has been good around kids. Her foster mom is working on housebreaking and crate training. She is pretty good on the leash. Fiona is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Nora has been a loving and beloved member of our family for 3.5 years, but she has also been a tremendous challenge. We've made tons of progress but have come to realize that long-term, she will be happier in a bigger, quieter home. Already anxious by the time she was rescued, she suffered brain damage due to blood loss when her spay went wrong in Jan 2021. (She's since been spayed properly.) There's too little space here to convey the scope of her issues, so suffice to say that Nora needs a home with space, quiet, and lots of patience from her owners. Loves: - Running in open areas. - Playing with other dogs she knows. - Dancing on her hind legs for a treat. Non-starters: - Homes in densely populated areas/ shared walls. - Kids under 12, or anyone who can't respect a boundary when she asserts one. - Inexperienced dog owners She is both deeply, enthusiastically loving, and a tough case. Ada comes from an overcrowded shelter down south. She was originally adopted as a puppy, and now that she's sadly had her own litter her family dumped her, as she was no longer useful to them. She weighs in at about 20 lbs. and walks well on a leash. She is a bit afraid of new people, but once she warms up to you, she is yours forever! Ada would like to be the love of your life, and the only four-legged family member at home. She has been recently spayed and is now ready to meet her forever family! Meet Angus!! This absolute goof is a 7.5 month old male Rat Terrier, Corgi, Pitbull Mystery Mix! He was the largest in his litter so we think he may be about 65lbs when fully grown - just an estimate, not a guarantee. He is in foster care in NJ and absolutely thriving!! He is very easy going and loves to learn. His potty trained and has been learning basic commands in his foster home. As he is getting more confident, he is loving adventure and exploring new things. Don’t be fooled, he loves snuggles more than anything else. He is known for making very goofy faces all the time and is currently very annoyed and confused by flowers… they’re very hard to pull out of the ground and run away with 🤣 Currently in foster care in NJ and available for pre-adoption only.
