Story
Loki 7 months old Male Corgi mix? 20-25 lbs This boy is definitely our “type”! He was surrendered to us from a very sweet owner who rescued him from a puppy mill and recently experienced some life changes where she couldn’t care for him. He needed a little bit of work - he wasn’t used to being crated, left alone, walking on leash, etc. but he has come so far with those things in his foster home! We’re ready to put out the feelers to see if we can find his perfect people. Loki has microphthalmia (small eyes) resulting in limited vision, and he’s also deaf. But all things considering he gets around very well! He is great with his nose and sniffs out a new friend quickly when they walk into the room. He is VERY friendly with dogs and people and has a very sound mind - he doesn’t spook or startle like a lot of deaf/blind dogs. He’s still a puppy and gets really excited to be with his people, so young small children would probably not be ideal in his forever home. - Dog friendly - Cats unknown - he’d probably try to play! - Crate trained - Mostly potty trained - Walks well on leash - Would prefer another dog friend in the home If you’re interested in adopting Loki please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Local adopters only at this time due to his upcoming neuter which is included in his adoption fee. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.
