We got Tucker from a breeder in Pembroke NC in 2024. We are looking for a home where he is the only pet and where he will get enough attention for his big personality! He loves a laser, cuddles and lots of belly rubs. We are looking to rehome him because he has become obsessive and at times aggressive with our other dog. We also had a baby in the past year and it’s been a transition for him going from being the only dog to have another furry brother and a human brother. We feel like Tucker would thrive in a home that could give him the attention he needs. He grew up in downtown Winston Salem and is a social butterfly. He isn’t a fan of loud trains.

Gabby is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people and wants to be wherever they are. She’ll happily follow you from room to room and loves nothing more than cuddling up with you. She is house trained and does great with both dogs and cats. Gabby is also very treat motivated, which makes getting her attention easy. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will happily be your little shadow, Gabby is ready to find her family!   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. Email your filled out application back to us to be approved. We will review it and return calls. Meet Millie and Milo, a bonded pair of Corgi's that must be adopted together. Millie is a small 3-year-old tri-Corgi girl. She will be 4 in December. Milo is a 2-year-old double merle Corgi boy. He will be 3 in December. They came to us from a lady who had too many dogs. These Corgi's were kept outside, and they were very neglected. Both are friendly but very thin. At our vet, Millie weighed 15 pounds and Milo weighed 19 pounds. We are working on getting them to a better weight. Both are very sweet and love attention. They are not high strung, will follow you around and they are both smart dogs who do not mess in their crates. They have been updated on vet care and treated for hooks, whipworms, and fleas. They have been spayed and neutered and have had dentals. A securely fenced in yard is a must. Examples that are best for them would be chain link or some type of fencing with no gaps at the bottom. We will not be adopting them out to any homes with chicken wire, or other farm life. These two are doing well but will need house training help and leash training as they only knew living outside before we took them in. These two Corgi's are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Adoption Fee $500 Each dog

Meet our sweet Mama Tinsley! Tinsley came to us on December 7th, VERY pregnant, cold, scared and with no hope of ever having someone to love her, again. Tinsley had been living outside, no shelter, little food and had had litter after litter. Discarded now. One of our rescue partners sent her to us and we couldn't say "no". She needed us as much as we needed to help her, but the funny thing is, we fell so in love with her. She is the sweetest girl! On December 13th, she had to have an emergency c-section and delivered 5 healthy puppies and was spayed at the same time. She is a great mama, but she is done with having puppies and she is ready to move on to a new family! Tinsley is very attached to her foster mom. Her foster mom is the only thing that Tinsley has ever known as having a safe place. For Christmas, she traveled with her foster family to their Christmas festivities in another state. She is absolutely no trouble at all. She wants to only be close to you and be loved. Her foster takes her wherever she goes. The girl has been around the US! She has loved every moment of it! Tinsley is about 8-10 years old. She will be around 25#, once her milk dries up. She is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative and now on monthly prevention. She is spayed and chipped. She will pee on a pee pad inside but not if you are watching her. She will also go outside and potty. If you would like to give this sweetheart the forever home that she deserves, please go to our website and complete an adoption application. Her new family must be home a lot or be able to take her with them. She is great with other dogs, but they aren't a requirement. She would love a retired family who she can be with a lot. We only want the best for our sweet girl! She deserves the world! Tinsley's adoption fee is $250. This only partially covers what we have spent on her and her puppies to date. We have spent almost $8000 with her vet care since she came to us. Her emergency c-section was $3500. She is worth it! My Foster Mom says my manners appear pretty good considering I was living outside in a rabbit hutch with Billy Bob (also available for adoption). She says you just need to keep on me and take me out on regular schedule till I really perfect this behavior! Do I look like a rabbit, NO, I am an adorable Scottish Terrier/Corgi mix boy, who is loving living inside--but I do need a FENCED yard, as with my newfound freedom, as well, sometimes I play catch me if you can with my Foster Mom and Dad, LOL...I am good with other dogs, but not children. I spent a short time at the local county shelter where I ended up with a bunch of my friends, after our owner was not taking care of us properly, and Animal Control stepped in to help us.
