Story
Oliver is a 3½-year-old “fluffy” Corgi. He’s incredibly loving, people-oriented, and thrives on attention. Oliver walks great on a leash, enjoys being a lap dog, and does well with kids and busy environments like sporting events. Oliver needs to be the only pet, or possibly with larger, tolerant dogs. He is not safe with small dogs or cats due to rough play that has escalated. He’ll also need a patient home committed to regular grooming, as his longer coat mats easily and he isn’t a fan of brushing or nail trims.

Story
Violet is a loving companion who enjoys being with people and other dogs. She loves to play and snuggle! We adopted her a little over a year ago but unfortunately life changes have meant that we don’t have the time to give her the life she deserves. Her best forever home would include a human who can spend time with her each day and another dog to play with.

Story
Meet Kayak! Kayak is a beloved staff favorite here, he is impossible not to love! We honestly aren't sure why he hasn't found his furever family yet, he is an adorable little goofball with plenty of love to give. Kayak is a mild-mannered boy that will match your energy; want to chill out and snuggle? He's your guy! Want to play? He'll do that too! Looking for a walking buddy? He can do that too! Kayak is about as friendly as they come, he has never met a stranger and is always ready to make a new friend. He prefers his personal space from other animals, so he would do best as the only dog or with respectful, laid back pets at home. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Kayak home. If you are interested in meeting Kayak, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
