Bonnie is a 3 year old Aussie shepherd/corgi/sheltie mix female. She is only 30 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. This is one girl that loves belly rubs. Bonnie has to have a physical fenced yard as she started out as an outside dog and likes to survey the landscape She is a great escape artist. She comes with a GPS collar. She is dog friendly and has not been cat tested. She lived with a single lady with 11 corgi mixes in the country was crated at night and was never socialized or around any children. We are assuming she is housebroken as we placed her sister and she was.She is about 2 yrs old; We are looking for a quiet home that does not have many people come in or crates her if they do. Also requiring fenced in yard. A new home will need time and patience to get her to warm up to you. At first she likes to retreat under a chair but with treats comes out. A volunteer has been working with her for a month every day to get her out with different experiences. She does ride in her car but loves to be in the middle on the console. She does get on furniture, is not crazy about getting a collar on/off but walks well on a leash. She is spayed, microchipped, current vaccinations, 4dx parasite screen, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prev. Adorable little Gus was picked up as a stray along with who we assume is his litter mate, Sam. He is estimated to be 1 to 2 years old. Gus has the absolute most gorgeous coat I have ever seen, but lots of it! He will need regular brushing to keep him feeling and looking like a rock star. He is good with the other dogs in his foster home. He is the cutest thing on earth, kind of looks like a cross between a racoon and a fox. Definitely has that wild animal look to him with his long tail and short legs. Gus will take a little time to adjust to yet another move but if you are willing to be a gentle leader to him it won't take long at all. He loves people and loves to be petted. *house trained but he marks.Tater is a loving dog, but our home is not the right fit. While he likes kids and adults and loves and craves attention, he needs constant strict supervision due to marking and not getting along with our other dogs well. Tater 's personality has not meshed well with our other dogs and is starting to negatively impact the quality of life particularly for our senior dog. After 2 years of trying to make it work, it's become clear our home is not the right home for him. Tater would ideally be the only dog in his new home. We are unsure how he is with cats. Not good with small animals like birds and rabbits.Please consider adopting him if you have time to train him and want a loving companion by your side. He's good with our young kids but please keep in mind he needs someone that has plenty of time on their hands. He will be a perfect, sweet, fur baby in the right home.
