Story
Meet LuLu, a brave and beautiful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! LuLu was rescued after being found and nobody came forward to claim her. LuLu is an approximately 1-year-old female Corgi mix, who weighs around 22 lbs. This smart and playful pup is super affectionate and always up for an adventure. She is a loyal companion who forms strong bonds with her person and just wants to be by their side. LuLu is mouthy and will let you know when she wants attention, but once she settles, she loves nothing more than a good cuddle. LuLu is a herder at heart and has tons of energy, so she'd be the perfect match for an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit. Due to her herding tendencies, we don't recommend a home with babies or toddlers. She does well with other dogs, but she can be a bit much for older pups, and she needs a little time and space to adjust when meeting new canine friends. LuLu is house-trained, knows the 'stay' command, and walks well on a leash, making her an ideal companion for adventures beyond the front door, too! With her sweet nature and playful spirit, LuLu is sure to bring joy and laughter to her forever family. Could that be you? Lulu is house-trained, crate-trained (not her favorite), and needs continued assistance with leash training. She is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
Bio for Nola+graphic:    Nola is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. She may be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but give her just a little time and you’ll quickly see her fun, loving personality shine through. Once she warms up, she’s all smiles, tail wags, and ready to be your new best friend.   This happy girl loves everyone she meets and does great with dogs, cats, and strangers alike. While she hasn’t had much experience around kids yet, her gentle and lovable nature makes us believe she would do wonderfully with them too.   Nola is crate trained and currently learning her basic commands—and she’s doing great! She’s such an excited, enthusiastic girl that sometimes she gets a little distracted, especially when she’s ready to play. She’s always carrying around a toy and would happily play fetch or run around outside for hours if you let her.   Whether she’s zooming around the yard, soaking up the sunshine, or cuddling up after a fun day of adventures, Nola is happiest just being with her people. Her one floppy ear and adorable smile make her impossible not to fall in love with. Nola would thrive in a home that’s ready for fun, love, and lots of playtime. She has so much love to give and is ready to become someone’s loyal companion and lifelong best friend. ##2744303##

Story
Age: 3-4 years, Australian shepherd corgi mixMeet Pepper :-)Pepper is extremely timid and cautious around new people and would be better suited with a child free, adult only home, as she has been very sheltered and not exposed to many people. But once she gets to know you she is very affectionate and playful, likes to hold hands, and will even help take your socks off!Pepper is very agile and fast, with a high prey drive (loves squirrel chasing) She would need a fenced yard as she will try to chase squirrels. She has had some issues with with smaller dogs but does well with dogs of similar size. She is house and crate trained and prefers to eat in her crate. We are offering a no adopt fee and will provide her crate too and her favorite toys. We have a new born and find it hard to give Pepper the proper attention and 1:1 playtime she truly loves and deserves.

Story
This pretty lady is Poppy! Poppy is an approximately 5-year old female Shepherd/Corgi mix who weighs around 35 lbs. She was rescued from the streets of Oklahoma City. Such a great girl! Loves people and attention! She is all about her person and will be such a loyal companion. She is so grateful to be out of the elements and dangers of the street. Poppy is great with other dogs but would be fine as on only dog if given plenty of attention and included in activities. She would love to have a home of her own for the first time! Poppy appears to be already house-trained since being in foster care. She doesn't care for the crate, but is not destructed out of the crate. She is also great on a leash! Poppy is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Poppy, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application.
