Story
Meet LuLu, a brave and beautiful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! LuLu was rescued after being found and nobody came forward to claim her. LuLu is an approximately 1-year-old female Corgi mix, who weighs around 22 lbs. This smart and playful pup is super affectionate and always up for an adventure. She is a loyal companion who forms strong bonds with her person and just wants to be by their side. LuLu is mouthy and will let you know when she wants attention, but once she settles, she loves nothing more than a good cuddle. LuLu is a herder at heart and has tons of energy, so she'd be the perfect match for an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit. Due to her herding tendencies, we don't recommend a home with babies or toddlers. She does well with other dogs, but she can be a bit much for older pups, and she needs a little time and space to adjust when meeting new canine friends. LuLu is house-trained, knows the 'stay' command, and walks well on a leash, making her an ideal companion for adventures beyond the front door, too! With her sweet nature and playful spirit, LuLu is sure to bring joy and laughter to her forever family. Could that be you? Lulu is house-trained, crate-trained (not her favorite), and needs continued assistance with leash training. She is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
Rehoming a cute Corgi mix to a loving home. She is much smaller than a pre-bred Corgi, so we believe that she is mixed with a Chihuahua or similar sized breed. She is very friendly and seems to love everyone she meets. We are re-homing her because we have two cats that she does not get along very well with. Unlike many Corgis, she is not very stubborn at all. She is very food motivated and loves chicken or beef bites as snacks. She is extremely good in the car as well. During the times that we have had to take her with us in the car, she just curls up in the seat and naps. She is perfectly healthy, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm, and flea and tick treatment, with the exception of having some mild weakness in her hind legs. It does not prevent her from running and playing normally. Looking for a responsible home that will keep her safe and give her the affection that she deserves!

Story
Meet Ein!   Ein is a 3-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a big personality packed into that classic short-legged, fluffy Corgi body. This handsome boy is AKC registered, fully vaccinated, neutered, and has already completed puppy training at K9 University—so he comes with a great foundation and knows the basics of being a well-mannered companion.   Ein is both crate trained and house trained, making the transition into his new home that much easier. He enjoys going for walks and getting out to explore the world with his person. Like many Corgis, he’s smart, alert, and happiest when he has someone to bond with.   Ein would do best as the only pet in the home, as he prefers having all the attention to himself. Because of this, he’ll need a home without other dogs or cats. He does well with older, respectful children who understand how to give him space when he needs it.   Ein is looking for a home that appreciates the loyal, spirited nature that makes Corgis so special. With the right person, he’ll be a devoted companion who’s ready for daily walks, cozy crate naps, and plenty of one-on-one time.   If you’re looking for a smart, loyal little guy to be your one-and-only sidekick, Ein might just be your perfect match.   ##2677913##

Story
This distinguished gentleman is a 7-ish-year-old Corgi who recently began a brand-new chapter after being relinquished by a breeder.   Sir Richard may be shy and a bit reserved at first, but with patience and kindness, he’s starting to discover that people can be pretty wonderful. He’s currently working on his socialization and learning what it means to be part of a loving home.   He gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a calm, patient environment where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.   If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in helping a gentle soul blossom, Sir Richard is waiting to meet his forever person — someone who will show him that love and safety are here to stay.   Apply at carerescueok.org   ##2539840##
