QUICK FACTS Name: Gangcheol Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo – Corgi Mix Color: Brown Weight: 14kg / 31lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I used to live at a scrapyard, where I was expected to guard the place. But I wasn’t very good at it. Instead of barking, I would wag my tail and happily greet anyone I met—even strangers. I’d roll over for belly rubs without a second thought, just happy to be around people. One day, I was given a chance to leave that life behind. That’s when I received my name, Gangcheol, a wish for me to grow strong and walk toward a brighter future. Now I’m safe, just as loving as ever, and ready to find a family who will cherish me for who I truly am—a dog who simply loves people.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Gangcheol, a sweet and easygoing dog with endless charm. I’m the kind of dog who will happily roll over and show my belly even to someone I’ve just met—I just love people that much! I’m also very tolerant and gentle, so I’m comfortable being touched anywhere. I have a great appetite, a playful and cheeky personality, and my short legs give me that adorable Jindo-Corgi charm that people can’t resist. I’m friendly, affectionate, and full of lovable quirks. I’m ready to become your loyal and easygoing companion. If you’re looking for a well-mannered buddy with a big heart, I might be the perfect match for you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a very loving dog! I don’t just cuddle with people I know — I’ll happily walk up to new people, rub against them, and let them hold me in their arms and pet me right away. I’ll even roll over and show my belly to someone I just met — it’s my way of saying I feel safe and would love some belly rubs! · With Dogs: When I meet new dogs, I can feel a little unsure at first, so I appreciate having a bit of time to observe and adjust. Once I do, I get along well – I’m generally very friendly and comfortable with dogs who are around my size, and I also get along well with smaller pups. Friends with very high energy can feel a bit overwhelming for me, so I tend to do better with calmer, more gentle companions. I enjoy peaceful and easygoing friendships with other dogs! · With Cats: When I see a cat during a walk, I might look at out of curiosity, but I’ll follow my person nicely without any trouble. I’m a good listener and happy to stay focused on my human.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and after some fun outside, I’m happy to settle down and rest quietly at home. I have experience going on walks and generally follow my person well. Sometimes, I may pull a bit when I want to go in a certain direction, but I stay connected and listen. If something scary appears, I might crouch down low to the ground because I feel nervous. With patience and gentle guidance, I’ll grow more confident and become an even better walking companion!   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people at all. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little growl to say, “This is my food.” When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outside, so I can adjust easily to your routine. However, if I go somewhere new, I might feel the urge to do a little marking at first. With guidance and consistency, I can learn the house rules.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES When in a new environment, I might feel the urge to do a little marking at first. With guidance and consistency, I can learn the house rules.   Gangcheol's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2689900##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Sura Age: Around 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 13kg / 28.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound, where my future became uncertain simply because there was no more space. I’m not sure how I ended up there all alone, but thankfully kind rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I’m finally safe and hoping to leave those difficult memories behind as I search for a loving forever family who will cherish me and never let me feel alone again.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly boy who truly loves everyone I meet. I bond quickly with people, even strangers, and naturally enjoy being around humans and receiving attention and affection. I’m also a very smart boy who learns commands quickly — I already know how to sit and give paw! I carry many classic corgi characteristics, from my personality to my adorable looks, so if you’re a corgi lover, I may just be your perfect match. And don’t let my short legs fool you — I’m surprisingly athletic and agile! I can jump incredibly high and have even managed to jump over a 1-meter fence before. I’m a clever and capable little guy with lots of personality packed into a compact body.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and happily soak up pets and affection from everyone I meet. Once I feel comfortable, I love showing my belly and leaning in for even more love and attention. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled easily. During my profile photoshoot, I charmed everyone by rolling over for belly rubs, pets, and attention the entire time. Being around people truly makes me happiest. · With Dogs: I get along well with the dogs at the care facility and really enjoy being around my dog friends. When I first see other dogs, I can get very excited and may try to run over to greet them right away, but I’m learning how to manage my excitement and become calmer during introductions. I generally tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size or smaller, and with continued guidance and structure, I continue improving my social manners every day. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit. I like to chase small animals (e.g. squirrels & birds) during my walk so I will do best in a home with no small animals.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely during walks. I have excellent manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I’m also a very quiet boy overall and rarely bark. I know how to rest calmly and quietly in my kennel when it’s time to settle down. I currently prefer doing my business outdoors with a consistent potty routine, and I’m also comfortable getting on and off the car by myself.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff sometimes joke that they should rename me “Gentleman” because I’m truly such a sweet little gentleman at heart. I’m friendly, affectionate, well-mannered, and always happy to be around people and soak up attention. I have a bubbly and cheerful personality that makes people smile easily, and I bond very well with humans. Whether it’s going on adventures outdoors or relaxing together at home, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my people. If you’ve been looking for a sweet, loving, and personality-filled corgi boy to brighten your days, I may just be the perfect match for you.   SURA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2741114##

Story
Hi future family, My name is Haeram, and I’m a 5-month-old Welsh Corgi × Jindo mix boy weighing around 8kg. I have short little legs, fluffy soft fur, and a bright happy smile that makes people laugh without even realizing it. Everywhere I go, people tell me how cute and cheerful I look! Before I was rescued, my sister and I were wandering around country roads together. We were still very young, and it was a dangerous place for puppies to grow up. Thankfully, kind people rescued us before anything bad happened, and now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for my forever family. I really love people. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I usually walk over happily to say hello because I enjoy attention and affection so much. I also get along very well with other dogs, so I could fit nicely into a home with another furry sibling too. Even though I’m still just a puppy, I’m already trying my best to learn! My potty training success rate is very high, and I already know some basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “come.” I enjoy walks and love spending time doing activities with people. Being together makes me happiest. But I’m still only five months old. That means I’m still learning about the world every single day. When I move into a new home, I may feel nervous at first. I could make little potty mistakes while adjusting, or I might chew things and get playful because I’m curious about everything around me. Those aren’t “bad behaviors” — they’re simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, walking paths, and how to feel comfortable when left alone. If you guide me patiently and kindly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and grow into an amazing companion. I really love connecting with people, and I respond very well to praise and positive training. If we spend time walking, playing, learning, and building trust together, I know I’ll soon become a true member of your family. I may not be a “finished” dog yet, but that also means we can grow together. For a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy, watching me learn new things, and making beautiful memories together, I know I could become a very special companion. I can already imagine myself following you around the house on my tiny little legs, wagging my tail, and being part of your everyday life. I’m waiting for the family who will walk beside me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Haeram 🐾

Story
All About Me Name: Peanut Age: 4 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Scheduled Breed: Mixed Color: White Weight: 9 kg / 20 lbs Microchip: Yes   My Health I’m scheduled for an exam for a minor eye condition called a corneal dermoid it’s something that will be checked before adoption, just to make sure everything is okay. Otherwise, I am perfectly healthy and ready to find my forever home!   My Personality I have a gentle, thoughtful soul. When I meet new people, I like to take my time just a day or so to observe, understand, and feel secure. But once we’ve bonded, I’ll be by your side with quiet affection, soft eyes, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’m not the kind of girl who demands attention, but when you call my name, I listen. I enjoy a peaceful environment, and I’ll often show my affection by simply being near you, content and calm. I’m fine with being picked up, though I prefer when it's done slowly and gently it’s just my way of setting boundaries respectfully.   Social Skills - With People: I warm up slowly but sincerely. Treats help break the ice, and once I trust you, I become affectionate and loving. I haven’t had a chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids or adults.   - With Other Dogs: I’m polite and friendly. I approach other dogs to say hello, especially those close to my size, but I usually prefer not to engage in rough-and-tumble play. If another dog is overly forward, I gently walk away.   - With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say for sure but I’m calm and open to learning.   On My Walks‍ I love my time outdoors it helps me relax and enjoy the world at my own pace. I do get excited and may pull on the leash a little, but I’m always tuned in to my person’s direction and happy to follow your lead.   Life at Home I’m peaceful and well-mannered at home. I rarely bark. I’m not possessive with food and get along just fine during mealtimes with both humans and other dogs. I prefer doing my business outside, and I’m used to that routine.   My Ideal Home What I’m hoping for is a quiet, loving home where I can truly exhale. A place where I’m understood, respected, and adored for the calm, loyal companion that I am. I’d do best with someone who can give me time to settle in, who appreciates soft affection over constant excitement. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes to win your heart but once I do, I’ll stay there forever. If you’re looking for a sweet, serene girl who will bring grace and warmth to your home, I’d love the chance to meet you. My journey has been long, but I know my forever family is out there and I’m ready to begin again.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Peanut’s Playlist ##2459123##

QUICK FACTS Name: Manitto Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi Spitz mix Color: Brown, Black Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was abandoned at a fishing site, left wandering around alone feeling scared and unsure of the world around me. It was a lonely and confusing time for me, not knowing where to go or who to trust. Thankfully, kind rescuers found me and brought me to safety before anything bad could happen. Now, I’m finally safe, cared for, and ready to leave those difficult memories behind as I search for a loving forever family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly and bright boy with a happy, affectionate personality. I bond very easily with people and truly love being around my humans. I also rely a lot on people for emotional support and feel happiest when I’m close to someone I trust. And honestly, I’m even cuter and more handsome in real life — my charm really shines once you meet me in person.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I get along very well with people and absolutely love receiving affection, pets, and attention. I allow myself to be picked up, and once I feel comfortable and safe, I love showing my belly for extra rubs and cuddles. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and making new friends. I’m social and do well with dogs that are friendly and respectful toward me. That said, I’m also confident enough to stand my ground if another dog is being rude or overly pushy, so thoughtful and proper introductions are important when meeting new dog friends. · With Cats: I previously lived with a cat in my foster home for about a year and got along very well with my feline companion. Even during walks, I don’t pay much attention to cats and tend to calmly move along without much interest.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate to high energy level. I absolutely love spending time outdoors, exploring, and staying active, but once I’ve had my fun and exercise, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up comfortably with my people.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely during walks. I tend to feel more comfortable walking in quieter areas rather than busy, loud streets, but I’m improving and gaining confidence day by day. I have great manners around people during mealtimes and don’t guard my food from humans, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby while I’m eating. I’m also a very quiet boy overall, rarely bark, and know how to rest calmly and quietly in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. In new environments, I may initially mark while adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings, so I’ll benefit from continued guidance, structure, and consistency as I settle into a home routine.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that is understanding of my marking tendencies in new environments and willing to be patient, consistent, and supportive while I continue learning and adjusting   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a bright, affectionate, and people-oriented boy who forms strong bonds with my humans. Volunteers and staff often compliment how friendly, sweet, and handsome I am in person. I truly love being around people, receiving affection, and sharing everyday life with people. I also have a playful and adventurous side and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring the world. Once I’ve had my fun, I’m more than happy to come indoors and snuggle up comfortably beside my people. I get along well with both dogs and cats, making me a very adaptable companion for many different home environments. While I may need a little patience and guidance at first as I adjust to a new environment and routine, I’m eager to learn and continue improving every day. With consistency, understanding, and love, I know I’ll blossom into an incredibly loyal, loving, and well-balanced lifelong companion.   MANITTO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2741123##

Story
Hi, future family 🧡 My name is Nut, and I’m a 1-year-old boy with a round little body, short legs, and a face that makes people smile the moment they see me. I’m about 10kg, and people say I look like a mix of Shiba Inu, Welsh Corgi, and Jindo. Somehow, I got the best parts of all three — a bright Shiba face, the gentle charm of a Jindo, and tiny Corgi legs that wiggle along when I walk. Apparently, the way I toddle toward people is “extremely cute.” I hear that a lot. But before I got this second chance, my story was almost over. I was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. If help had come any later, I wouldn’t be here today writing this to you. Even though my past was difficult, I still love people very much. I never stopped hoping someone kind would choose me. I’m actually pretty friendly when meeting new people. I like staying close to humans, and if you look at me or talk to me, my tail starts wagging almost immediately. I really enjoy attention, affection, and simply being near the people I love. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy running around or relaxing beside dog friends. I do have one funny little habit though… Sometimes I get a tiny bit jealous. If another dog is getting all the attention, I might quietly squeeze my way in or try to remind everyone, “Hey… I’m here too!” But it’s not aggressive at all — it’s more like a little kid asking not to be forgotten. Honestly, I just love people so much that I want to be included in the love too. There’s something important I hope you understand about me: Living in a real home will be completely new for me. I’ve spent my life in shelter environments, so things like house routines, walking politely on leash, waiting alone, potty habits, and understanding family life are all things I’m still learning. At first, I might make mistakes, get overly curious, feel nervous in a new place, or show lots of puppy energy. But that doesn’t mean I’m a “bad” dog — it just means I’ve never truly had the chance to learn what family life feels like. Rescue dogs like me sometimes need time to adjust. For the first few days or weeks, I may seem shy, overwhelmed, or different from what you expected. New environments can feel scary at first. But if you stay patient and give me time, I promise I’ll slowly begin to relax, trust, and show you more and more of my real personality. And I think… my real personality is pretty lovable. I’m the little dog who trots after you on short legs. The one who looks at you with bright eyes whenever you call my name. The one who simply wants to be loved and included in your life. Once, I was standing at the edge of goodbye. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who will give me a warm home, kind patience, and a life where I never have to feel unwanted again. If you choose me, I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you with my whole heart. 🧡
