Story
Sissy is the kind of dog who’s happiest curled up next to you at the end of the day. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants to be close without being overwhelming. Sissy is a young corgi/JRT mix with a unique look—long and low, but not heavy. She’s the perfect size for couch cuddles and everyday life. She’s very loving and enjoys being with her person, whether that’s relaxing at home or just hanging out nearby. When she first arrived, she was scared of other dogs and reacted out of fear. Once she realized she was safe, she completely relaxed and now does well around them. That tells you a lot about her—she’s sensitive, aware, and able to adjust when she feels secure. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys closeness and will settle into a steady, comfortable routine. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Marcy is the type of dog that makes people smile almost immediately. She has a goofy, happy personality, loves being involved in whatever you are doing, and absolutely lives for water. If there is a pond, creek, kiddie pool, or muddy shoreline nearby, Marcy will find it. Marcy is a stocky, short-legged mixed breed girl around 45 pounds full grown with a personality that balances confidence and sensitivity in a really unique way. She loves adventures, swimming, exploring, and outdoor activities, but she is not a nonstop high-energy dog. She can absolutely keep up on hikes, walks, or active days, then happily relax afterward. She is great with other dogs and cats. With dogs, she does best around friendly, respectful personalities. She can get intimidated if another dog is overly pushy or tries to dominate her, but outside of that she is social, playful, and very happy around other animals. With new people, Marcy can sometimes give a little low growl at first. It is not aggression and she has never shown aggressive behavior. It is simply her way of saying she needs a moment to process and get comfortable. Once she settles in, her affectionate and goofy personality comes out quickly. She is basically an extroverted introvert. Marcy would be a great fit for someone looking for a dog that enjoys adventures and outdoor time but does not need constant stimulation to stay happy. She especially needs a family that understands that not every friendly dog is instantly social with strangers, and that giving a dog a few minutes to warm up is completely okay. Good fit: someone looking for a fun, outdoorsy companion that enjoys water, adventures, and relaxing equally. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Bruno — the best of both worlds wrapped up in one adorable, wiggly package! Bruno is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Corgi mix with the classic Corgi body (short legs, sturdy build, and that irresistible wiggle) — but with a unique face that makes him truly one of a kind. And when we say wiggle, we mean it… his whole body gets in on the action! Add in his constantly wagging little nub tail, and you’ve got a dog who wears his happiness on his sleeve. Bruno absolutely loves people of all sizes. Whether it’s kids, adults, or anyone willing to give him a little attention, he’s all in — soaking up pets and dishing out affection in return. He’s the kind of dog who will greet you like you’re the best part of his day, every single time. We believe Bruno may have spent much of his life as an outdoor dog, so he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. The good news? He’s already making great progress! He uses the dog door during the day to go in and out, and he does excellent in his kennel at night. With a little patience and consistency, he’s going to catch on quickly. Bruno does well with other dogs overall, but he does not do well with unaltered male dogs, so he’ll do best in a home that can accommodate that preference. If you’re looking for a happy, people-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Bruno is ready to wiggle his way right into your life.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Lady — Gentle Soul, Quiet Companion, Blossoming Beauty 🐾✨ Hi… I’m Lady 💛 I’m about 10 months old, 25 pounds, and if I’m being honest… I’m still figuring this big, busy world out. I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy. Some of my favorite things: - Going on walks (I’m actually really good on a leash!) - Checking in to make sure you’re still there… because you’re important 💛 - Quietly hanging out near you like your polite little shadow - Learning that the world isn’t so scary after all I’m not the chaotic, zoomy type—I’m more of a “let’s take a peaceful walk and then sit together in comfortable silence” kind of girl. Think cozy companion, not party animal. Because I’m still building my confidence, I’d do best in a calmer home without small children. Lots of noise and fast movement can feel overwhelming for me—but with patience, love, and time, I’m blossoming more every single day. 🌼 What I really need is someone who sees me—not just the shy beginnings, but the loving, loyal dog I’m becoming. Someone who will go at my pace, celebrate my little victories, and let me grow into the confident girl I’m meant to be. I promise, I’m worth the wait. So if you’ve got a kind heart, a little patience, and maybe a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes… I’d love to be your Lady. Apply today at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛

Story
Renegade is part of our Derby litter. Her and her Brother, Great White are the only two still searching for a family. She is a 13 week old Corgi mix. Although she doesn’t look anything like a Corgi, most of her siblings do. She has longer legs than the others did. She has a petite built, and we are guessing she will be a smaller medium in size when fully grown. Renegade has medium energy. She loves to play fetch, but her favorite activity is sitting in your lap. Renegade is doing great with going outside to potty. She is dog and kid friendly and won’t mind kitties. Renegade is looking for a fun family. If you are fun, please head over to the website for an application and email it to us at Tracey.bthar@gmail.com. BTHAR Washington PA Kl 16643

Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi. I’m Bella. Yes, that Bella—the one who literally chose her human. One day I just… followed my now-mom and her dogs home like, “This seems right.” And honestly? Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m about 2 years old (vet’s best guess, but have you seen my teeth? Very white. Very youthful. Iconic.) and 66 pounds of smart, sweet, slightly opinionated perfection. I’m some kind of part Shepherd/part angel mixup of breeds, which basically means I’m beautiful, athletic, and smarter than your average roommate. Let’s get into my resume: • Human-Oriented Queen – I like to be near my person. Preferably always. • Extremely Smart – I learned sit, high five, and treat-catching immediately. I’m basically a prodigy. • Toy Enthusiast – my stuffed Highland cow and tiny T-rex? My prized possessions. • Excellent Communicator – I will bark to let you know when I need to go out to do my bidness in the yard. Efficient. Clear. Respectful. A few notes from management (me): I prefer to approach new people on my terms—no surprise greeters, please. I’ve got boundaries, and honestly, good for me. I do great with other dogs, but have not been exposed to cats. I am a loyal companion to my people. My dream home: A fenced yard (I love my space), lots of walks (I love my walkies), and a human who appreciates a smart, loyal, slightly sassy best friend. Favorite things: Ear scratches, back rubs, snacks I catch mid-air, and being told I’m a good girl (because I am). If you’re looking for a dog who will choose you, stick by your side, make you laugh, and keep life interesting… I’m already halfway home. —Bella 🐾
