Story
Seeking a new home for Cookie, a sweet 10-year-old Collie/Corgi mix who's owner suffered a major injury and can no longer care for her.She is super sweet though can take a moment to be comfortable with new people. She is very food-motivated, which makes bonding and routines really straightforward. She'd love to have someone who is home and she can sit near all day long. Her different colored eyes and underbite are adorable. She's a good car rider, too.She likely needs to be the only pet (no dogs or cats) because she can be wary of other dogs and food aggressive with other dogs. She has lived with another dog, and they did okay as long as meals were separate and she was the alpha.She does great on a predictable potty schedule, but needs someone home often enough to keep that consistent so she doesn't have accidents. 3 outings a day minimum. She also needs regular brushing/grooming.She loves to keep her walks short and rest in the sunshine. Several years of good vet records available.
