Story
Murphy is an incredibly special dog who has been part of our family since he was a puppy. He is gentle, loyal, and deeply loving, and making the decision to rehome him has been incredibly difficult. In a perfect world, we would never have to say goodbye. Murphy does wonderfully with children and people of all ages. He has never bitten anyone and has never shown aggression. He is protective of his family in a calm, appropriate way and bonds strongly with the people he loves. He is fully house trained, has no accidents in the home, and is extremely trustworthy. He walks calmly beside you, even without a leash in appropriate settings, and does very well staying within yard boundaries without a fence. Murphy is affectionate, friendly, and loves attention, cuddles, and head scratches. He is a relaxed “big potato” who enjoys naps and couch time just as much as companionship. Due to busy schedules and childcare responsibilities, we can no longer give him the time he deserves.

Story
We are officially taking adoption applications for Winnie the five month old Corgi who was attacked by a dog and had we believe nine broken ribs. She is healing amazingly and can start being a dog in about two weeks and we are so excited for her! We generally only adopt out to a 90 minute radius of Nashville, TN. A couple of things to note about both Winnie and the process… •We believe we will be overwhelmed by applications so we will be accepting applications starting Monday, January 12th and will close the first stage of applications at end of day on Wednesday, January 21st. We will then evaluate the first round of applications and will plan on doing a few few back-to-back meet and greets with the best fits on Sunday, January 25th. •It does not seem as if Winnie had any training at all before she came to us, so please keep in mind that she is an extremely active young mouthy Corgi puppy •We do not believe that Winnie has been spayed and we will ABSOLUTELY NOT adopt her out if we get even a hint that she could possibly be used for breeding. She will need to be spayed in the next couple of months and we will get it in writing in a contract that if she is not spayed within a certain time frame (and we will follow and monitor and ask for written confirmation) then she will be returned to us. Period. We are not in the business of breeding. &#239&#191&#188We will also be doing a home visit before we begin her trial. •&#239&#191&#188We do believe that especially because of her unique coloring that she probably was purchased from a breeder, and we are fairly certain she is a purebred Corgi which means she is a hearding dog and she is ridiculously intelligent and picks up on things very quickly – but it would be nice if a potential adopter had Corgi experience. •Winnie is currently in a home with cats and a 10-year-old and does OK with both but does want to play with the cats so she would probably do good in a home with another dog that is active that could keep her active and engaged, and probably would do best with a slightly older child. Remember… she is an untrained mouthy puppy! •We have had one professional training session with her and she did amazing and picks things up so quickly and &#239&#191&#188her fosters are working on things with her so she won’t come totally untrained. And we would be more than happy to provide additional sessions if needed. But please remember that Winnie came to us injured so though she has been with her fosters for about five weeks now, they haven’t been able to make the strides and training that you would normally be able to if you had a healthy puppy. Winnie has been on such intense activity restriction that their training has had to be skewed to work on things that didn’t allow her to be active so she will only be able to fully puppy after the next couple of weeks. •We do think that Winnie would be good with another dog in the home but again, because of her activity restriction, we haven’t really been able to explore socialization with her. She has been around other dogs a couple of times and seemed very interested but was on such activity restriction that we have not been able to fully socialize her and dog test her. We will be working on that as soon as she is opened up to be a dog.   January 13, 2026, 2:09 pm

Story
Oliver is an 8 year old corgi who loves belly rubs. He is a little shy, but is a ham once he gets warmed up. He loves to play outside as much as possible. He is not a huge cuddler, but wants to be near you. He listens well and is trained on or off leash. Oliver is not great with small children. He likes to be petted only how he likes to be pet. Kids make him nervous. It breaks my heart to need to rehome him. I am nervous he will bite my child as he has growled at her in the past. He is a little ball of love, an would make a family without small children a wonderful pet.

Story
Aki grew up in a household of friends, family and an older Corgi. She did great the first 6 months of her life. She's very loving and affectionate. Unfortunately, Aki, since a baby has shown fear aggression and it rapidly progressed since moving out of the home and leaving her best friends behind. She is a year and a half old now born 4/12/2024 late in the evening. She will need an owner experienced with fear aggression with no children or other pets in the home. She will need a very strict, and structured rehabilitation that the current owner unfortunately cannot provide with other animals in the home and disability. In the proper environment, Aki will bond and learn to trust again. She will need near constant reassurance and redirection. Aki comes with all records, updated records, is UTD on all vaccinations and spayed. She will have her crate, her own food bowls, toys, harness, and collar. *Please only consider this adoption if you have experience with anxious aggression.
