Story
Meet Nala — a 41-pound, 7-year-young Corgi mix who somehow missed the memo about “acting her age.” Honestly, we’re pretty sure she’s more like 2 or 3. Nala is all about fun, movement, and people. She loves playing chase with other dogs, greeting everyone she meets like a long-lost friend, and soaking up attention whenever it’s available (sometimes by enthusiastically jumping up to say hello — she’s working on that!). She’s also polishing up her leash skills, but her joyful spirit makes every walk an adventure. Due to instability in her previous home, her family made the loving decision to give Nala the chance at a calmer, happier life — one filled with peace, play, and laughter. And that’s exactly what this girl brings to the table. Nala does best with older children who can match her energy and not mind her zest for life. She’s crate trained, great with other dogs, and if you’ve got squirrels or rabbits in your yard… well, let’s just say she considers that a bonus feature. &#239&#184&#143 Her black-and-tan markings are beautiful, and those ears — almost standing straight up, with a charming little flop forward — give her a look that’s impossible not to smile at. Nala’s motto? “Smile everywhere you go!” And she truly lives it. Interested in adopting this happy girl? Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us your city and state. We transport north from Nashville, TN almost every weekend — and Nala already has her bags packed! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.February 1, 2026, 7:34 pm

Story
Dolly is a 7 year-old American corgi (mix of cardigan and pembroke corgis) with an undocked tail. She is very loyal to her people, loves to play and run, is very tolerant of our almost 2 year-old, and loves other dogs. She can be an anxious dog at times, fireworks send her running to the bath tub every Fourth of July and new years but that’s about the extent. She is very aware of all noises around her. She is house broken, kennel trained, and walks on a leash. My husband and I have had her since she was a puppy when we first got married. This is not an easy thing for us to do, but with a 2 year old and another baby on the way, we simply feel like Dolly is always getting the shaft. The ideal situation for Dolly would be with a family who has room for her to run and play. She struggles in our close-quarters neighborhood with our small fenced in yard. We just want a loving home for her at the end of the day.

Story
Dottie is a 3 (almost 4) year old corgi/toy poodle mix. She has one blue eye and one brown eye, legs like a poodle and the coloring and body type of a corgi. Dottie is very affectionate and loving. She loves pets and attention. She is playful and active but also a lap dog. Dottie does well with our other corgi and our two year old. She can be a bit of a barker when she feels threatened, like when around a larger dog for the first time. She has been to doggie daycare many times and done fine in that scenario besides barking. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. We ultimately just want a loving home for Dottie. We have had her since she was a puppy and love her but realize she deserves more love and attention than we can give her with our 2 year old and another baby on the way.
