I am Heartworm negative, and I have had my first round of vaccinations. I love to play and explore, but what I love most is being with my human. I'm always ready for a walk, but I'm equally happy to curl up at your feet while you read or watch TV. I am good with kids and other friendly dogs. Dogs that are too rowdy can scare me. I’m not sure if I’ve met a cat? I'm a good listener, too. If you've had a tough day, I'm here for you. I can't solve your problems, but I can make you feel loved and important - because to me, you are. I'm not just a pet, I'm a companion, a friend. And I'm waiting for someone just like you. Story
Little Anzen (Japanese for quiet) was rescued from a local hoarding situation where 9 dogs including a pregnant dog and a litter of puppies were being kept in a junkyard. We are looking for a quiet and safe foster home for Anzen. He's very frightened and will need time to decompress and start to trust people. At the moment, he can not yet be touched, he's too afraid. He will need a secure yard and we think, that the company of a friendly dog could help him become more confident as he loved the other dogs he lived with in the junkyard. Anzen is a little guy at about 28 lbs and as you can see, he's super adorable, he looks like a mini bear baby. Meet adorable Logan! What a ham! He's super duper cute at a perfect size of about 40 lbs. And he's smart as a whip. He learns so fast! Logan was rescued from a high kill shelter and he's definitely happy to be alive and safe! He has quite a bit of energy and is athletic but also loves to just snuggle up next to you. Logan is looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. He has started obedience training and is learning fast. Logan is super affectionate! He absolutely comes alive in open spaces, where he can run free, explore, and let all that joyful energy out. At home, he’s a cuddle bug—loyal, gentle, and always close by, ready to rest his head on your lap or follow you from room to room. He’s great with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and just wants to be part of a loving, active home where he can continue to thrive. This decision hasn’t been easy, but we know the right person or family is out there—someone who will love him as much as we do and give him the life he deserves.
