Story
Meet Arlo 🐾 Arlo is a sweet, loving young dog who is looking for a home that’s the right fit for him. He loves being around his people and has a big heart. He’s affectionate, loyal, and will happily follow you from room to room because he just wants to be close to the people he loves. Arlo enjoys playing, going on walks, and spending time with his family. He’s a great companion and has so much love to give. I’m rehoming him because my work schedule and lifestyle aren’t the best match for what he needs right now. This has been a very difficult decision, and my priority is finding him a home where he can thrive. Arlo does have separation anxiety, so he’d do best with someone who is home more often, has experience with dogs, or is willing to continue working with him through training and patience. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly—I care about him deeply and want to make sure he finds a family that can give him the time and stability he deserves.

Story
Scampy is a 16.5-year-old Dachshund/Corgi mix with a little body, a big personality, and so much love to give! This sweet senior is looking for a cozy retirement home where he can enjoy leisurely walks, plenty of attention, and lots of couch cuddles. After losing his person and ending up in a shelter, Scampy is ready for a fresh start. He may take a minute or two to warm up, but once he does, he’ll happily follow you from room to room. He’s silly, affectionate, loves snacks, and even jumps for treats. And did we mention he’s toothless? That just makes his adorable little face even more charming!Scampy gets along well with dogs and cats and is crate trained. He’s still working on house training but is making good progress. Because small children can be unpredictable and overwhelming for him, he’d do best with older kids (12+) or adults. If you’re looking for a low-key little companion to share your days and your couch, Scampy may be your perfect match!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
